Anyone betting CFL take Sask -5.5 while you can over Calgary and their 3rd string QB. He threw 3 picks in 5 minutes against Toronto. Edmonton, one of the best Offenses in the game did not score a TD against Sask's Deffensive which looks like has the best secondary in the league. Henry Burris is back in Sask which will motivate Nalon Greene (the Mike Vick of the CFL) to dominate a weak and injured Calgary team. Thier best receiver Albert Connell (Former redskin) is out too. Also you have to lay Edmonton -6.5 over Ottawa. That game is going to be ugly period.

Blacklab you must like Toronto. Dickenson is out and Wynn will get picked about 2-4 times against that strong Toronto secondary. Damon Allen only needs like 143 yards to pass 60,000 so this is a huge game for the Toronto QB and he hates BC his former team for passing him up for Dickenson. Look out for a 2-3 score win here from Toronto. Already played Edm heavy with Ottawa's RB Davis out and even heavier on Sask with the 3rd stringer in for Calgary and Sask playing their best football. I like your picks Blacklab. I also hammered the Argo's team over 27.5 off my play it moved to 28. Argos will score at least 5 TD's this game against a weak BC secondary.

Edmonton makes a 3rd and 4th qtr surge after trailing all game to get a comfortable 12 point lead only to give up a meaningless "backdoor" TD with about a minute to go. They win by only 5.

What a disaster. Edmonton should have killed Ottawa if they played the way they were suppose to. The 2nd half was the real Edm and if they played that way all game it would have been a 3-4 score win (0-1). Argos was like DeJa Vu of the Edm game. Argos outscore BC by 18 in the 2nd half to win by 2. Played Argos side (0-2), had the team total 27.5 (Thank god for double OT LOL (1-2) and also took Argos at -6.5 2nd half (2-2) kind of helped me get back in the game. Sask is the only team that showed up and played right through picking off Milanovic 4 times and twice in the end zone. I cannot lie and say I was not a little worried about this one, played Sask (3-2) and also took Sask 2nd half -1.5 when they were up 10 (4-2). Still very disappointed because it should have been 6-0 if Argos and Eskimos showed up 1st half. Good thing I took Tampa -1 1st half and Tampa +0.5 2nd half to go 2-0 with preseason. Blacklab, I am taking the Winny and Hammy total over 52. I think Hamilton has there best game of the year having 2 weeks rest and to prepare and they score 4 TD's. Khari looked like he got back on track in Montreal and would have won if he didn't get injured. Winny scores at least 5 against a very weak Hamilton D. Winny's D is not impressive at all so they will give up big points. I kind of like Winny 1st half -6.5 but will not play because I don't know what to expect from a well rested Hamilton team. Taking the over 52, let me know your thoughts. NFL Preseason if anyone is interested I took MIA -2.5 over TB. I figure MIA 2nd string D is a starting D elsewhere and Griese is going to try to look like he should be #1 and vice versa for Fiedler. Also hammered Dallas -2.5 over Ari because Bill Parcells hates to lose period. To add to that you have a QB competition with Quincy Carter and Chad Hucthinson, they will both play well. Since posting here at Rx (6-2).

Hey everyone,

Recall my Hamilton and Winny over 52. I am laying off this one because it is raining and there will be thunder storms. I will watch and play a halftime. If there was no weather problems I would have taken the over really big.

Hey Oren1,

I ended up playing the total over 51.5 when I seen the weather and it stopped raining. After Hamilton had 2 wide open TD's in the 1st half that did not cash in, I had to jump on the 2nd half total over 25.5. I got that at Bowmans and Greek opened at 26 but moved to 26.5 quickly. I actually thought that Hamilton would cover 2nd half but did not play it. It was +6.5 at one point and another book had +4 so I thought there was tons of value at +6.5 but I would never bet Hamilton unless a gun was to my head. Here is my forecast for CFL next week:

SASK -5.5 OTT (48.5)
HAM +16 MON (52.5)
TOR +4.5 EDM (54)
CAL +5 BC (50) if Dickenson does not play
CAL +9.5 BC (55) If Dickenson plays

Good luck next week!!

Hey Blacklab,

Looks like I was off by 0.5 point each side and 5 points in the Montreal game. 3 scores is a lot and McManus looked decent against Winny. The totals are off I thought they would respect Sask D more, I was pretty on with Edm/Tor and way off with Montreal because I feel that Hammy will not score that much against Montreal's D. I already Teased Tor/Edm over with Sask/Ott over. The rationale for the early play, these lines will move. These 4 teams went over 80% of there games in the last 3 weeks. These two games will be close which will warrant a shootout type of back and forth game. Ott will score at least 21 against Sask and Sask will score about 35 against Ott. The sides I am staying away from. I will bet halftimes though. NFL preseason got KC/GB over 35. Got it early before the line movement. Blacklab let me know what you are doing.
