I don't think the cheap Chargers would pay Payton, plus the GM job is not open. Maybe he considers working with Murray a challenge, but I agree having him locked in as QB is a negative.

Looks like NFL is letting DBs contact receivers for the playoffs, same happened in 49er game, sure did not affect the deep 49ers, and Seattle has some strong ones, too, they "let them play".
Chargers were very thin at WR so the wear and tear got to them last quarter... and, Bosa is an idiot.
Have to consider it in upcoming games, for example, lightweight backup Giants WRs, can they hold up with the physical contact for 4 quarters?

You should watch the 1Q alone. So many no calls on chargers. Pass interference twice and a helmet to helmet on Lawrence. Very bad/missed calls

Vikes DBs are not that good but if allowed to contact hold rough up WRs, they are more than adequate against a weak WR corp.
