In addition, when I used to play alot of blackjack in the casinos I noticed what winkyduck is saying on the lower limit tables. Ive gotten on some higher limit tables where everyone pretty much had the same strategy based on what the dealer was showing but still I still didnt have alot of success. I think what bothered me even more than people not staying/hitting correctly in this game, was when people would periodically not play a hand or when people constantly come and go on the table which I felt threw everything off whether it was true or not. I also believe it is blackjack etiquette to ask the players at the table if its ok for you to join just in case the cards are running hot for them. But once again since this is the #1 money making table game in the casinos, im sure 90% of the time if you asked to join, the whole table would say the dealer is killing them, which is what ive heard alot when ive asked or already been on a table.
