Kinda agree. But not sure I believe him. No mid shoe entry so he’s sitting there playing a game he can only get a 11-1 spread on. Playing every hand at a $25 bet. He probably wasn’t a counter. I’d fire Kidman for kicking him off the game.

Unless he comes back and tells me it’s 80% pen, DAS, DOA and S17 and 6D. Maybe, but just maybe.

Sounds like a counter to me. 2 hands of $25 at 1-11 spread is a very profitable situation

he had a file a mile long. from the east coast to vegas

I got caught counting once, at the Horseshoe in Tunica, after Harrahs bought them out. Before Harrahs came in, they let me spread red from $10 to $100 with impunity. Harrahs didnt kick me out, they just told me I had to flat bet. The funny thing is, I came back a couple years later and somehow was able to count again.

I can no longer play BJ at Southpoint in Vegas. One night met these girls there I ended up becoming friends with to this day. They probably thought we were a team. Lol. They were fuckinf with the pit boss and me at first. They said it was their dad and what not. And the pit boss played along with it for a while.

I was betting from $5-$400 on their double deck game. Lol. They let me bet for hours. Walked with $3k

Next morning I go and buy in and they said I can play anything else but blackjack.

people wear diaguises, have other peoples ids, play as non rates etc. it very much so becomes a cat n mouse game. especially if you have a local card counter, who tries to play 5-10 a month

Most counters don’t have the discipline to make money long term. If I owned a casino I’d offer a tight game with limits and let them have their chance. Lol

lots of casinos and brands have different ways to approach it. some states just allow you to ban the player from your property, so if they get caught playing they are arrested for trespassing. Others will flat bet you the shoe for whatever your first bet it, some do 25 min 50 max. we do 2 hands and shuffle.

If I was card counting I would never sign up for any type of players card, and I would never cash out my chips the same day ( or atleast within hours of my play ending, ideally leaving the property for lunch or something etc/ change my shirt/hat). The longer you can go without them getting your name/id the better

My best run was 15 years ago in a DD game at old Argosy in Indiana. It was a $15-$1500 table. They let me bounce all over on my bets, up to $1500x2. It was the sickest run of my short blackjack career there. Got the boot after running it up to $32k but walking with $28k. Good times

yea sometimes casinos are dumb, or certain staff lol. I argued with one of my bosses for months that a certain player was counting cards and we should just cut the shoe on them etc. well i come in one random day and look at his account, and see hes a confirmed advantage player by another property in our city....... im like, ya fucking think so........ he took our casino for about 70k over 6 months or so

This is pretty accurate 99% of the time. There are some rare situations where a video poker machine has very small +EV with perfect play,
or with promos factored in. But yeah, apart from counting cards in blackjack, it's pretty rare to find +EV situations in land-based casinos.

And now, with many casinos installing shuffle machines, and moving to BJ pays 6/5, finding worthwhile BJ games is few and far between.

Which is why I moved from BJ to poker (for the most part) 20 years ago.

I sure hope 6/5 blackjack doesn't become the normal like the double 0 in roulette has.(this is the game i normally use to cash out my bonus money in land based casinos by simply betting on red and black). So i despise the double 0.

someone should flip the tables over

There's only one way to get rid of such games. And it doesn't involve flipping anything over.

Don't play. If enough people boycott such games, the casinos no doubt will get rid of them.

Last time in Vegas I was yelling at the dealer and pit boss about the triple 0 table. They just stared at me as I kept yelling at people not to play at that table.

I was waiting for my friends to cash out at the cage so I figured it would be a good way to kill 5 - 10 minutes.

Yeah. Yell at the people that have ZERO (pun intended) say in having that triple 0 table in the casino.

You are doing God's work. Good job.
