100% - most skated through school on an easy road. Special treatment since middle school/freshman time. It has been that way since the 90's (maybe 80's) It's easy to see now because of social media and everyone has a camera in their pocket. The wannabe thug and hard knock life persona is all an act. +1. i started going to games in the early 50's and loved the NBA and finally gave up on it in the 90's when, as you correctly stated, politics and race became more important than playing good defense.
