Funny thing about line movement, which has no bearing on any play I make. I know others "read" lines and make decisions off of that. Some are good at it, and I'm not saying its not useful. For me, it makes no difference. Quick story from yesterday......
I have a buddy that tails my picks, and he also likes to vet them out . Yesterday those 2 totals had big line movement. Oklahoma/Creighton opened 161 closed 156. Wake/Arkansas did the opposite, opened 153 closed 156.5. So he calls me up and says the Wake game got "steamed" up, the "sharps" are playing the over.
"Do you still like it??".... I said "Are you kidding? We just got 3.5 points of value"........."Yeah, but the sharps are all over it"........"Who are these sharps you refer too"........."The line moved for a reason".........."Yeah, the public saw these 2 teams just scored a bunch of points last game, so obviously it will happen again."........"Thats a lot of movement"........."Do you trust what I do??".........."Well, yeah"......"Then who gives a fuck what others do. Just shut up already and play the damn game".
4 hours later............text message.....(Thx for the winners, I'll never question you again)..........my response......(Who the fuck do you think you're trying to kid. Of course you will. You're welcome.)
Gotta love your homies.
