WSOP?..there is a Binions in Shreveport and Tunica.

The deli, the runners all crowding the lil' Sportsbook, the WSOP, shrimp cocktails, steak and eggs, old Vegas crowds playing at the tables, and a place that Nick would let one place a real wager..what a waste..who didn't see the sister wrecking it?

You forgot to mention Priscilla. The petite older gal who wears the "Dolly" wig and has been a waitress there forever.

I have a call in with a good source on this tomorrow morning. I will write up an article or post something on this afterwards. Sad to say, but sounds like a good chance there won't be a sanctioned World Series. Knowing the poker world they probably will create something to try to capture its allure.

No way in hell they let the WSOP die, or even miss a year. This is the best thing that has happened to that tourist trap in many, many years.

Some say Fatburger others say in and out burger but for my money the Deli has/had the best burger in town. Done the old fashioned way on a flat grill nice and juicy.

Benny must have run the place into the ground. he is a good kid, and is actually good friends with the owner of Grande, but apparently he was in over his head if this stuff is accurate.

Benny jr had nothing to do with the demise of the horseshoe it was his dad Nick, when Benny sr was still alive he bought a small casino downtown for his daughters and Nick ran the joint into the ground in less than a year.Nick was such a idiot he lied on his gaming license application and couldn't get one,and yes Benny jr was in way over head

Oh yeah, the T-Birds! There are three of them all over town. Those places are the home of the best lounge food in town and the absolute most degenerate gamblers as well, those 15 machines they have in there are goldmines for the owners.

KVBC TV Channel 3, the NBC affiliate here in Las Vegas has just received a phone call from the president of Harrah's. It's official. Harrah's has purchased Binion's Horseshoe.

I hope they keep the same suppliers, I love being able to get a Dr.Brown's Creme Soda or Root Beer with a Hebrew National kosher dog.
