I agree Snyder is in for an uphill battle, conference much different now even after only 4 yrs. But he will make the program more competetive for sure. The man is a perfectionist and as hard working as they come. I believe he will bring in some good assistants and better players. Glad to see him back actually and hope he schedules cupcakes early, as mentioned by someone above, I cashed with this team many times when they were huge chalk. He loves to roll it early for sure.

Snyder was one of the best ever, but he is also part of their demise. They were going downhill fast before Prince was hired. They couldn't land one of their top 5 choices to replace Snyder the first time around, and their top choices didn't want it this year. This is not a top 25 job.

This is great news for the rest of the BigXII......Snyder will make sure the Kitties continue to slide back down the rabbit hole. He doesn't have 9 years to build something and who in their right mind would want to play/asst coach for a lame-duck workaholic coach?

GoSooners hit it on the head, this isn't 15 years ago and he will find it a cold, cold world of reality. This is a desperate move by the outgoing President/AD and a man who drinks his own Kool-Aid. K-state is severely undermanned, under-funded and under-equipped to be a player in the BigXII consistently.

Go For It ....you might be the most diluted "homer" on this board! K-State a good couple of years and I give Snyder credit for making them at least relevant (Absolute worst program in the history of CFB to a few good years). But to say "we are back" is what makes K-State fans the biggest wannabes in football, YOU WERE NEVER "THERE". Please, get over your small dick syndrome.

I think Snyder was brought in strictly to get the fund raising going on a couple of projects that they have wanted to get started. Prince had pissed off most of the donors and they knew Snyder would be a safe hire an get the dollars flowing for awhile again.
