I have a feeling after he gets hammered a few times, then they will go to contain him and it will be pick city

at least he's not underweight for his frame. Bridgewater is 25 lbs underweight for his and won't be able to take any punishment, nor has he faced much pass rush at all in college.

I think the difference is that the only hits Bridgewater will take will be in the pocket. Manziel, like RG3, WILL get hit in the open field, no matter how much a coaching staff tries to convince him to slide. I also think there is a much greater chance that Manziel falls out of the top 3 than Bridgewater. I say 3 because I think it is very likely the Rams take Jake Matthews at 2.
All that being said, I'd definitely take the risk with Manziel over Bridgewater if I were making the decisions in Houston.

Manziel is WAAAAAAAAAAY better than RG3

Based on what? R U comparing pro stats or college stats? We all know Manziel does not have any Pro stats so he is out of that, I never compared his NCAA stats to RG3 so u might be correct on the college level, but different games, different teams, it is a useless conversation. Sorry!

You are thinking the way the EXEC's in Houston are thinking, Look at the Cleveland Football Franchise, the put asses is seats every game, if Houston puts a fragile little man called Johnny Football on the field he will do the same, put asses in seats and that is worth more than most would think.

I don't know how he will do professionally, but Johnny is one hell of a college football QB.

Since all NFL teams derive more revenue from TV than game day tickets, I'm not so sure that there is much of a financial consideration in drafting a QB to "put butts in the seats." I don't think the Texans have problems selling tickets anyway.

if Houston wants Manziel then they should take advantage of the spot they're in and trade down. good chance he is still there at 4 or 5.
