So you pinheads that believe that Artest should be suspended for the entire season actually believe that fans can do ANYTHING to athletes without reprisal? Are you kidding me? So if I go to an NBA game, and because I don't like Kobe bryant, I go into the bathroom, urinate into a cup, and then pour it on Kobe as I walk past the bench, should he just sit there and take it like a man, or in this case should we say a woman? The fans should be held just as accountable as the athletes when they provoke. The point here is the length of the suspension. The entire season? Most prudent individuals would deem that exorbitant. Those with inherent biases against Artest would conclude that the punishment matches the crime. I am not one of those biased people. I have a college education, and there is a seriously incongruent scenario in terms of the punishment. If Artest was so wrong, then let the police charge him. Stern went too far in not allowing Artest or anyone else for that matter to stand up for themselves like a man when totally humiliated by some intoxicated fans.:madmad
