This is a game like any other game, at least for me. Why ? Because I am a gambler. I try not to watch games I bet on. If it wins it is OK. If it loses, there is always tomorrow. No need to go back and forth guys, agree that you do not agree and move on !

What none of you are willing to admit is that the SEC is not nearly as good this season as in previous seasons. It is really that simple. If the SEC West was bad enough to allow BOTH teams from Mississippi to outplay them, then there is major trouble in the SEC West. How many points do you think Oregon will rack up against a defensless Alabama team? 50? 60? 70? The sky is the limit. Unlike the SEC, they have a QB who can throw and run.

You guys watch way too much T.V. and read too much B.S. The reason why Mizzouri gets so little respect is because they lost to Indiana (unbelieveably) and to Georgia at home. Mizou went 8-3 ATS this season, much better than 'Bama's 5-6. I would pass on both games mentioned here. OU does not have their starting QB, so it is hard to determine just how good they really are. They lost to both TCU and K-State with him, and almost lost to Texas. I think OU wins the game, but there is no way I give that many points, no matter how bad Okie State is (and they are bad).

i agree with your thoughts !

you mean like kinda sorta the type of team that won their Big 12 division in 2007, 2008 and finished 2nd in 2009, 2010? ...and would have finished 2nd again in 2011 if you had divisions. that sort of domination? :) too funny

Considering they had CU, ISU, a non-Snyder led KState, and KU in their division, they were pretty much going to default to 2nd place just by showing up.....which is pretty much the same situation as the SEC east now I suppose.

if anything it shows some level of consistency as he's had them 1-1-2-2-2(sorta)-5-1-1 in 8 years in their division. clearly if they were in the other divisions in both conferences it wouldn't be so pretty

have learned a lot in this thread though...

1- Missouri has a better defense than Alabama
2- Missouri is dominating the SEC in their 3 years
3- If a team hasn't beaten an opponent by 2 TD or more in their previous 4 non-home games, it's impossible for them to accomplish that feat
4- Oregon will put up 60-70 on Alabama if they meet
5- If i watch Gladiator tonight i will know the ATS outcome of the SEC title game tomorrow

glad i stop in each day for these eye-opening, ahemm, facts

i half agree with 2....if you call it SEC EAST. and you spell it D0M!NATE!!!!!

the Bama defense is not as great as people would believe. Even the crap Western Carolinas can get a couple of TDs on them. They've only played one really good offense and that was Auburn and Auburn torched them. Other decent offenses scored 20+ readily on them.

But Mizzou dee better than Bama?? um, no. they arent too far away though. Problem with Mizzou is their offense is not that good.
I liked Bama and the BOL ridiculous open of -1 (check it if you dont believe it) and even up to 10....but I do like Mizzou +14.5 now. I think the Tigers can
hang around. maybe take an early 3-0 lead before Bama pulls away 26-13 or so.

Oregon, if they played today, could score 34 on Bama. We all know Bama strugggggles with mobile QBs. If they played in January it'd be less as Oregon would have too much rust from not playing for a month. But Bama has the offense to score on da Ducks so......

guess you don't realize that not a single other team put up even 24 on them this year....but not surprised after reviewing this wacko thread ... funny, one bad half and you guys are acting like this is oregon's defense :)

let me see if russell crowe holds the answers...

Gents, I don't have a dog int this fight, surely not playing this one unless MoJo Jay and Slim Fats show up with guns and force me to, but I don't give a shit what nos. you're looking at, Bama has the better D. 312 ypg allowed to Mizzou's 330.9. And that's after the pile put up in the Iron Bowl, which is to be expected. This ain't the Iron Bowl tomorrow. GLTA

Upgrading Missouri to my 2nd NCAA GOY this season (this time got Missouri +14.5). You can call it my "NCAA postseason GOY" or whatever LOL.
My 2 football GOYS this season were both winners in NFL and NCAAF.
3.5% of bankroll on Mizzou +14, 1% of bankroll on Mizzou +14.5, and 3% of bankroll on Oklahoma State +19

WVA.....decent offense, scored 23.
FLA...terrible offense, scored 21.
Tenny....decent offense, scored 20.
MSU..decent offense, scored 21
Miss...decent offense, scored 23

other teams impressively scored less, but those other teams are bad to poor on offense...FAU? WCar? Ark? SMiss? LSU? really very inconsistent offenses at best.

holding TAMU to 0 was impressive, though they benched their QB soon after for being ineffective for multiple games. i'm not sure if that means anything but watching the game, Bama was really good. I think they had a lot to prove that game.

not any of the teams above have a really good, explosive offense.

the one great offense Bama faced, they scored 44.

Oregon, I would say, has a great offense too. you may disagree.

i'm certainly not saying Bama's dee is bad mind you. But they arent ZOMG SO AWESOME either like we've seen in years past. they just havent been tested a whole bunch as SEC offenses just arent as explosive this year as we've seen in previous years....

I see a numbers all over... similar defensives. offensively, there's no comparison. here's a number, turnover margin. mizzu +8, bama -5. can't turn the ball over in big games. no play for me as I don't see a runaway here. never know with these SEC west vs. east match ups.

good luck. just throwing some info out for all.
