What none of you are willing to admit is that the SEC is not nearly as good this season as in previous seasons. It is really that simple. If the SEC West was bad enough to allow BOTH teams from Mississippi to outplay them, then there is major trouble in the SEC West. How many points do you think Oregon will rack up against a defensless Alabama team? 50? 60? 70? The sky is the limit. Unlike the SEC, they have a QB who can throw and run.
You guys watch way too much T.V. and read too much B.S. The reason why Mizzouri gets so little respect is because they lost to Indiana (unbelieveably) and to Georgia at home. Mizou went 8-3 ATS this season, much better than 'Bama's 5-6. I would pass on both games mentioned here. OU does not have their starting QB, so it is hard to determine just how good they really are. They lost to both TCU and K-State with him, and almost lost to Texas. I think OU wins the game, but there is no way I give that many points, no matter how bad Okie State is (and they are bad).
you mean like kinda sorta the type of team that won their Big 12 division in 2007, 2008 and finished 2nd in 2009, 2010? ...and would have finished 2nd again in 2011 if you had divisions. that sort of domination? too funny
way to take on of maybe 4 reely good threwds on this forum for on of the top 5 guys here and shit all over it. whT a total lack and complete disrespect for the big "p" and his thread. go to the rubber room u goombas jeeze!!!! respect ... show some!
if anything it shows some level of consistency as he's had them 1-1-2-2-2(sorta)-5-1-1 in 8 years in their division. clearly if they were in the other divisions in both conferences it wouldn't be so prettyConsidering they had CU, ISU, a non-Snyder led KState, and KU in their division, they were pretty much going to default to 2nd place just by showing up.....which is pretty much the same situation as the SEC east now I suppose.

have learned a lot in this thread though...
1- Missouri has a better defense than Alabama
2- Missouri is dominating the SEC in their 3 years
3- If a team hasn't beaten an opponent by 2 TD or more in their previous 4 non-home games, it's impossible for them to accomplish that feat
4- Oregon will put up 60-70 on Alabama if they meet
5- If i watch Gladiator tonight i will know the ATS outcome of the SEC title game tomorrow
glad i stop in each day for these eye-opening, ahemm, facts
guess you don't realize that not a single other team put up even 24 on them this year....but not surprised after reviewing this wacko thread ... funny, one bad half and you guys are acting like this is oregon's defenseOther decent offenses scored 20+ readily on them.

let me see if russell crowe holds the answers...
You are embarrassing yourself...againWVA.....decent offense, scored 23.
FLA...terrible offense, scored 21.
Tenny....decent offense, scored 20.
MSU..decent offense, scored 21
Miss...decent offense, scored 23
other teams impressively scored less, but those other teams are bad to poor on offense...FAU? WCar? Ark? SMiss? LSU? really very inconsistent offenses at best.
holding TAMU to 0 was impressive, though they benched their QB soon after for being ineffective for multiple games. i'm not sure if that means anything but watching the game, Bama was really good. I think they had a lot to prove that game.
not any of the teams above have a really good, explosive offense.
the one great offense Bama faced, they scored 44.
Oregon, I would say, has a great offense too. you may disagree.
i'm certainly not saying Bama's dee is bad mind you. But they arent ZOMG SO AWESOME either like we've seen in years past. they just havent been tested a whole bunch as SEC offenses just arent as explosive this year as we've seen in previous years....
