Co-Captain, I lived in Hawaii for a few years right when Hawaii became a respectable team. Why is it that Ashley Leile sucks so bad? I though he was going to break the mold and be the first UH position player to be worth a crap in the NFL.

First, I think PK Jason Elam already did that...not to mention C Jesse Sapolu(49 ers during the Montana and Young SB days), and Ofensive Tackle Mark Tuinei(Dallas during the Troy A. SB days)...I know that is a while back...LOL...But Jason Elam still kicking it..LOL.
Anyways, as for WR Lelie...he came into a Bronco team who already had their stars in place with McCaffery, Davis, Portis, Smith, and Sharpe...He was projected to be the future star...Well now that McCaffery, Davis, Portis, and Sharpe are no long at Denver...Lelie will have his chance to shine and take the leading role in the Offense, only behind WR Smith who is the go to guy on shorter pass patterns....WR Lelie will be the deep threat for the Broncos and usually those guys dont get utilized that much as they are mainly for long pass attempts or to strecth the field to open up for more higher % types of passing plays...
Still, yesterday Lelie did lead all WR with the most yardages, as well as, the longest catch for 58 yards...and that set up that important drive to regain the lead after KC tied the game up...Its to bad RB Griffin fumbled the ball in the endzone, because if he didnt, I am sure Lelie would of gotten more recognition for that catch....Lelie ended the day with 4 catches for 88 yards....Rod Smith had 7 catches for 76 yards, with the longest catch for him being 14 yards.
I think this year, depending on how far Denver goes, and mostly likely next year his Star will shine...He has been a consistant pass catcher and now is being recognized as a deep threat WRs and I think he will do well....But you have to remember also that Denver is a slightly run first offense...and did run it 35 times last night to 29 pass attempts...and with the that Denver OL being one of the best in the League and with the emergence of RB Griffin...I expect even more running from them....Still, Lelie will have his time to gain fame and only get better...just got to remember, he has only been in the league for only 4 years, I think...The future is bright for him...IMO.
