I had dinner with the owner of BHB last night and he invited me and Shrink to his office today. We are going after Shrink battles his obsession with going to the local racetrack(Hippodrome) here which I am told holds 37%.

I cannot help it if some of you guys are blind, but I took the time to post on one of the two Panama threads listed below yesterday that I was meeting the owner of BHB/MVP BETS last night and that they were THE FIRST Costa Rican sports book ( but certainly not the last) to relocate to Panama...

This should be looked at as a positive, not a negative, and when I return to the States, I Will list the advantages that a sports book has of doing business in PANAMA...

One thing that is very unlikely to be seen are bookmakers going UNDER here because of how strict the licencing requirements are and the fact that real regulation exists...

P.S.

I understand that Big Nasa recently tried to get licensed here but they were unable to meet Panamas stringent licensing requirements...

Shrink - This situation in Pananma will be good for the industry as fly-by-night or scam-books will not be able to operate in Panama because of the regulation.

This is the 1st POSITIVE step the Sportsbook industry has made towards regulation in years.

In the very near future we all will be asking some of the smaller books WHY they cannot operate in Panama? Where the cost of operating is 50% less than anywhere else.

I agree costs in Panama have got to be substantially less than Curacao, which is exactly the reason guys went to CR

It's not MVPBets, it's MVP Sports Int'l (Legendz).

Also, could you ask him whether MVP / Legendz is guaranteeing the punters' post-up funds at BHB ? I was always curious about the exact relationship, and I have a vested interest since I have funds at BHB.

No I am not blind but the fact that the Panama thread was posted 7/12 at 7PM doesn't really help people wondering who is moving where. My thread posted at 11PM same night. Does that mean with all the info you have I am only 4 hours behind you?? Also is ROYAL still a recommended book...maybe I'll post up and get burned and then I'll let everyone know...thanks
