FWIW I even modeled combining both systems-- betting on games where one team has won 4 or more games AND their opponent has lost 4 or more games, and it was a little better, but not much.

My best streaking system is betting on a home team, with a season win % over 50% that has lost 2, 3 or 4 games in a row. That one hits at 62.5% and is very profitable at 471-282 over the last 10 years.
