Jeez ever hear of a link?
My ranking of PAC QBs, as college players not NFL potential.
1. Mariotta, his only weakness he fumbles way to much
2. Kelly, best brain and eyes in the group
3. Huntley
4. Hogan
5. Kessler
6. Mannion
7. Wilson
Mannion and Wilson both have million dollar arms and 5¢ brains
8. Halliday like the 2 above him he's an INT machine.

Good list and I'll disagree on only Kelly who I think is a system QB. Mannion is a stiff and will be exposed without Cooks. Wilson is a goof.

Miles is already best known for making a very bad decision for which you and I would have done jail time!
The best college QBs are all "system QBs", whatever that means.

If you're referring to Cyler Miles, no one knows how good or bad he is. My hunch is that he's not as good as Keith Price and will make bad decisions!
Miles looked fabulous as a quick alternative stepping in for Price when it was appropriate to do so.

I think a big story nobody has even brought up was Petersen's willingness to sit his starter on the bench in W1 and letting him know who's boss. Miles escaped the incident cheap enough. His pal that was with him took the rap and Miles essentially just walked away from it.

My guess is he thinks he can stop Hawaii with a backup, run game and good defense. But you are correct that it does send a message.

BOL to you this season.

CS~ you are correct. Not sure how bad the fight/altercation was but we'd probably have gotten some time (or probation). It was a bad decision, but it would be tough living in Seattle and watching your team (denver) get the snot beat out of them.

Many thanks my friend. Please keep on doing what you do best which is keep everyone
up-to-date on the goings on in Texas... and of course your Pac-12 background to go with it.

Have you noticed that there has been little if any letup on the Duck's roster with all of the
Texas recruits? I have a bit of a hunch that the Oregon and Oklahoma football staffs have
arrived at an agreement on how they will divide up the spoils among the Texas preps. Ever
since the two of them (OU & UO) played a home/home series about 6-7 years ago, things have
not been the same insofar as a Texas presence in Oregon football. I think that there could be
an ally relationship with both schools to their mutual benefit. Oklahoma does what they do
best by stealing whatever they want from UT and now Oregon comes along and helps to keep
many of the rest of the noteworthy players in the state away from Okie's biggest competitors.

Well it could work out.... couldn't it?

...and as a post script, anyone notice the fine pleasure Josh Huff experienced after last year's Alamo Bowl and then threw in the face of Mack Brown, who didn't even offer Huff the time of day much less a scholarship when the Ducks nabbed him. He was eventually taken high in the NFL draft at the same time UT didn't have a single player drafted by the NFL. Good stuff.
