I have nine 68% winning plays today :missingte, they went 8-0 yesterday, ( ask UBM),so I figured I'd round robin them into two teamers, then do nine 8-teamers ( in case one misses), and one 9-teamer, for a few bucks apiece.

You can get this nine pack of winners for only $99 at:

www.doug-tout.com

UBM: whassup with these odds ?

My nine pack went 4-4-1...I stand by toutantee, rest of the week free for all paying customers.... LET"S GET THE CASH, AND PUNISH THE BOOKIE ! :missingte

doug bet phoenix wants serious gamblers not the f-cking mickey mouse players trying to hit 8 team parlays for 10 dollars.its tomuch paperwork for these guys if you like the 8 team parlays go play at the small books bet phoenix doesnt have time for kids games right fernando.

If by serious you mean losers, and by losers you mean yourself, then you are correct.

It's funny for you to call Doug a mickey mouse player when as I've said before he has forgot more then you'll ever know.

It seems they don't calculate it out mathematically ( when you try to parlay a lot of teams ), like Bookmaker, and 5D would do.

I was screwing around, going to put in a few eight teamers ( I know its not a good bet). 256 ways and eight teamer can go. My test was all -110 lines. the risk amount was $4. A parlay calculator says it should pay $701.78. It came up as $334 at Phoenix, so I passed it

Amount : Risking 4.00 To Win 334.00 USD

Amount : Risking 4.00 To Win 334.00 USD

Interesting, but I guess at this point not surprising.

Doug,

I will address this for you. When we changed software, the new system has certain default settings.

My silence was due to travel. As you know I am usually very active on the boards, and will continue to have a presence here to assist.

Thanks,

Richard

This is still a bad joke on payoff odds on parlays, Richard:

Pay the parlays, correctly, man.

I thought they were OK with payoffs on 2 or 3 teams, but I'm wrong, on that.

If you use lines other than -110, you get short-payed. I checked the payoff on this one with a calculator, after I bet it... it seemed short, by looking at it.

This should pay $102.30, not $94.60

No more parlays there, for me.

This information may not sway many from playing there but for me the main thing I do for baseball is 2 team parlays.

So thank you for posting this Doug.

It won't stop me from playing there, it will stop me from parlaying, though.

I've never seen a book do this, on 2-3 team parlays.

Here's a standard 2 teamer that should pay out at +260 ( or +264), not +244

Wager type : Parlay
Select #1 : NBA Basketball
Phoenix Suns 2/9/2009 7:05 PM - (EST)
Spread +1½ -110 for 1st Half
Select #2 : NBA Basketball
Phoenix Suns/Philadelphia 76ers 2/9/2009 7:05 PM - (EST)
Total Points UNDER 109 -110 for 1st Half
Amount : Risking 100.00 To Win 244.54 USD

The odds actually got worse, from a week ago. They were OK, on two teams, but not now. I think this default setting needs to be repaired...

It wouldn't sway me for other sports but I'm loading my accounts for the upcoming baseball season and just called BP over the weekend to get clearance for a deposit method.

The parlay odds that were applied to fix the previous issue are the same that are allocated to a cross section of other major books in our market. The standard 2 team payment is 13/5 or 2.6 in many A rated books. It was paying at a discounted rate to 2.8. The -105 juice is for straight wagers, not for parlay or teaser odds. The payoffs at higher team parlays have been adjusted to pay under the same logic and cross section of odds our competitors employ.

I should let Doug respond to this but the parlay he has posted is 2 team @-110 odds with a payout of 2.44 not standard 2.6

You can revert the -105 lines , so they pay +260 in a two teamer, that is OK.... Pinny does that, for one.

However the posted example above with the -110 lines for H1, should pay +260 ( or +264 ish), it does everywhere else, that I've ever seen.

That parlay has to pay at least $260.

Show me anywhere else where it does not !

Using ML's, Phoenix pays a proper +440 with:

+140
+125

I'm not going to check every parlay to see if it short pays, just won't parlay there.

The math is very simple with two teams at -110.

It pays +264 ish, or the old school +260 is OK, no less than that.

Some books let you parlay the -105's, or pay +280 on two teams ( at -110), but they are rare.
