ppeter -

I think there is a lot more than 3-4k in bonus money involved. They reduced all winning wagers made with bonus moneys. If you are playing at BOS, you are making 3-team parlays at 7-1 - my guess is the amount in dispute is much higher. I don't imagine BoS would resort to blatant thievery over such a small amount.

Artie (if you still read this threads) - how much more would BoS have to send you to "make it good"?

ppeter, This IBAS is a big joke. BOS knows they already won. BetOnSports is a criminal enterprise. I have been telling people that for 6 years since a Vegas sharp warned me about these theives.

BTW, Have you read the absurd accusations BOS has said about Artie's betting activity. The first accusation was that he bet steam and was warned. Artie says on his very first wager the manager did not want to take his $10,000 wager because he was a new customer. After 15 min. and the line not moving the manager accepted the wager. After the wager was made the line moved 10 cents AGAINST the player.

Last I checked, if you sue someone in England the losing party has to pay for their own court costs and the winning party's court costs as well. This practice is used to dissaude people from the frivolous lawsuits that run amok in the US court system

Wasn't there a thread a couple weeks ago about how BetOnSports supposedly told someone they "reserved the right to void bets that were steam plays" and then they clarified that they would not be cancelling supposed "steam bets?" Or am I thinking of a different book?

No, you're right.

BetOnSports cancelled Americam Idol bets, cancelled a soccer bet 5 days after the bet was made but 2 minutes after the wager won. If we keep spreading the word about this scam operation, it wil have to open the eyes of some people and save them the aggravation of having their winnings stolen.

The strangest thing about BetOnSports's arguments about "betting steam"--a last fall, their sister book Millenium offered a promotion involving Phil Steele's plays. Many of Phil Steele's released plays cause a line move, so someone following Phil Steele's plays is certainly "betting steam." How can they encourage people to bet one form of steam (Phil Steele plays) but raise a shitfit about another?

Their rules are simple, there are no illegitimate losses, only illegitimate wins. Their rules ONLY come into play when you WIN and their rules are written to allow them to nullify any winning bet they choose to. All losing wagers, even if it is a syndicate play or a steam play, will always be 100% valid to PoS.

I highly doubt that PoS has ever returned losses of players that they "suspect" MAY have broken a rule. They only keep the winnings of players that they "suspect" MAY have broken a rule. They wait until you win, THEN they pull out the rulebook. As long as you're losing the rulebook stays on the shelf.

Shit the only reason he was offered such a generous boner was becuase he was re-loading.

They don;t offer boners to winners that re-load.

Then they say hey your a wiseguy we warned you.

Why wasn;t he 86ed when he bet but lost a supposedly "steam play"?

Books like this gives thoses senators "steam"

To bann inernet wagering

One more thing

I used to book action way before the advent of the inernet and I got hit with these so called steam plays.

At first I freaked and layed them off to my bookie.

He took it all even though he was getting pounded with the same game and he was the luckiest sob I knew.

After my guys lost these so called steam plays i was fat and needless to say I quit calling them off and let the idiots bet thier tout plays and went out to dinner and knew they are going to win some lose some thats what the juice is for!

What a shit book...cant beleive that they are trying justify the reason for not honoring the wagers. We need to keep the vigile on this and make sure we keep warning Newbies and Veterans of the problems w/ this book and the company that runs this book. The only way to make them change their stance is a steady diet of bashing the book..I for one will do my part and try to warn as many people that I know of this TRUE FACT...BOS=Theives.
