Haven't had the rope for > 20 years, but this thread raises a memory to be shared with today's youth.
Best rope I ever seen was Hawaiian. One day, a lady friend offered a pin 'j' in return for a favor, and said, "be very, very careful." It was truly phenomenal. One hit wonder. Could 'fly' 3 - 4 hours on 1/2 toke. Worked that 'j' for 2 solid weeks. The roach itself was a 3 day thrill.
Not sleepy stuff - no sir! That experience was so good, I cried when it was gone. To this day, 25 years later, the memory is real.
2nd best, and not even a close second, I've seen was in the mid 70's. Red bud. Columbian. Literally 'red' tops on buds. A real activator. Radio music sounded like a concert. Auditory enhancement was 3 or 4 fold. Could hear things on albums never heard before!
