I don't think either statement is true Chop, but maybe we just have different uses or different expectations or a different ear. I've listened to a few systems over the years I know I can enjoy

I'm just looking to see if someone knows of some hidden gem, some great value, some lessor known brand with great sound and easy to connect to everything

They are complete garbage for the price and laughed at by the audio community.

If you want something decent for under a K Cambridge comes to mind

get Sonos, it's the best. Great sound, easy to add more speakers and easy to connect with your tv, control with remote, etc. sound is awesome too. I started with 1 speaker and now have 5 with sound in different rooms, etc. you can play different music in each room too.

The simplest and best I would imagine is SONOS - it's wireless and you can always add speakers to the other rooms or outside at a later point - and it's only about $1000 or so

Sonos playbar plus sub. Baller

Sonos it is, my son even suggested them

Plus Best Buy is 30 minutes closer than Bose :)

Thanks guys

Sonos playbar $649 @ best buy. Whole system around $1,300

I'm dropping a few hundred more than I wanted to, but I always seem to do that

You'll like it. Wouldn't surprise me if you drop $300 more and come home with two ones also, lol, but I'd go for the sub. If not, you'll be back. Being wireless, decent sound quality, and mobility make the Sonos hard to beat for the $ these days...have fun and enjoy...

Isn't this one of Vitfraud's "other ventures"?

Put the order in with vit. He texts Jamheel and you get a $2000.00 system delivered to your local shopping center parking lot a couple of days later for four hundy. Trunk to trunk. Easy peasy.

Best selling point with Sonos is it wirelessly streams your music services.

You're gonna want spotify premium to really make the most of it.

$10/month and your music library now consists of pretty much every song ever.

Add a few play 1s to your network (play 5s for BIG rooms). You're gonna want to stream music to places other than just the soundbar. But the cool thing is with the soundbar now you can "surround sound" your TV to other parts of your house. Perfect for the big game, put a play 1 in the bathroom with game sound.

Then get an MPOW StreamBot for your car so you can stream the Spotify wireless to your Aux jack.
