I do a lot of side Home Theater work. Customers always say that but it is simple math.

We will assume its a 16:9 aspect.

80" diagonal is about 40" x 70" with an area of 2735

90" diagonal is about 44" x 78" with an area of 3459

area difference is 724 which is basically another 42" TV... but like anything in life the bigger you go the more itll cost ya!

My friend bought a Vizio 70" and he says it's better than Samsung or Sony which I can't believe. But he knows his stuff!

Vizio is supposed to be great based on reviews I've read. A lot of people just don't want the off brand name.

Forget the TV, just get a projector. Much cheaper and will last a lot longer.

If you must have the tv, contact any sportsbook in Nevada, you'll get the info you need for the super size tv. I am sure Atlantic City has a few on reserve they may part with as well.

Hows the picture quality on projectors?

Every projector I've seen has a pretty lousy picture. Just not sharp or crisp. I'm sure they've gotten better recently but so have TVs in general so I can't imagine it compares even remotely to an LED.

90" is huge. So is 80". I have a relative that has one probably somewhere in that neighborhood in a fairly normal-sized living room and it's almost difficult to watch. He'd have been better off with a 65" based on how close we sit to it, etc.

The problem with projectors is they really need to be in a dark room. Light hurts the picture.

The glare from the fire from your 2 fireplaces would make a projector hard to watch. Especially on Saturdays and Sunday's when you are burning money.

I agree about the projectors.

I'm most likely going to go with the 80 inch led. 90 is too expensive and probably a little too big

Pioneer was the best and still the best picture ever made........Panny and Samsung are # 2 & 3 now.

Imagine if Pioneer was still in the business, wonder what could have been

My 500M is tops, what a picture
