He actually does. But if you blink, you miss him.

Scene when Dink has a computer open. The page on the screen is actually Brock's Facebook page. And the famous forum pic of Skippy at the Hoover Dam with his white and green Sandlot baseball shirt..

Also when the interview with the more heavyset guy is taking place in the Casino another Blink & You Miss it appearance by Brock as he is getting chased across the Sportsbook by an Italian-looking guy that looks like could be Geno Bisconte.

I read the article in the link.........guy lived in the fast lane most of his life.......kind of crazy how he & his wife had a pact for suicide.

Finally saw The Best of It. I thought it was a well made and interesting look at sports betting but kind of depressing.

I don't envy any of the characters lives portrayed. Alan Boston seemed unhappy but a decent guy nonetheless. The Shrink loses his house and commits suicide. Lem Banker gets robbed by his own kids. Dink was the only one who seems like he was somewhat well adjusted.
Anyone else watch this?
Boston seemed very unhappy and uncomfortable in his own skin, but probably a decent guy. Dink came across as very likable. Just watched this this morning and it kept my interest solely because it was about sports gambling, but not really a good movie. Wish they had more about the gambling end of things, was alot of crap I had no interest in watching.

I miss Murph. If Murph was still here there would be 3 or more links posted to where to watch this doc free online.

Somewhere in my basement I have one of the Rx newsletters. If I ever make it through my old files downstairs I will post it. I think it was published in 94 or 95.

Murph mystery solved. Was watching this documentary online and slipped into a coma from boredom.

The movie "Lay The Favorite" with Bruce Willis as Dink can be seen occasionally on Showtime or Cinemax.

Dang, Crap. That Lame, huh?

So much time the Producer(s) invested in getting this done, friggin Mind-Boggling.

I was looking forward to seeing this, too :(

I am still bewildered by the fact that dinque was such a threat to society that he
actually served time.

After watching this it shows how tough it can be (going all in, no 9 to 5 job)

Boston couldn't even hack it.

Like some of them said, not as glamorous as it seems....but I understand the appeal fully
