Been Watching the Series The Killing Cop show filmed in Vancouver but set in Seattle

Its been pretty compelling but they need to wind it up mid way through season two and they still have not caught the killer - the cops do a good job of running around accusing everyone.

The Leading man - Holder is pretty good comic foil - Best line from a 16 year old to Holder - "you know your white right"

check it out

Black Mirror has been a non-stop winner for me.

Like getting a winning pick with an easy cover.

Thanks, brah. Finished Season 1. Just fucking excellent.

This is what it's all about.

Not sure what's on Netflix but the best movies I've seen lately are Snowpiercer, Frank, Cheap Thrills, Housebound, What We Do In The Shadows, Resolution, Europa Report, and It's a Disaster. All relatively unknown I think.
i checked out resolution, i thought it was great, looks like it was made for next to nothing and still well acted. very creepy

  1. [h=2]Things Change[/h] 1988 PG 105 mins

In David Mamet's acclaimed comedy, Jerry (Joe Mantegna), a misfit Mafia henchman, is assigned the low-level job of keeping an eye on Gino (Don Ameche), a shoe repairman fingered by the Mob to confess to a murder he didn't commit. But Gino's mistaken for a Mafia boss, and the two are suddenly catapulted to the highest levels of mobster status. Only friendship will see them through this dangerous adventure alive!

I love David Mamet's films. Especially Spanish Prisoner and House Of Games. Things Change is also highly recommended.

Wasn't sure anyone else saw The Spanish Prisoner. Another great flick. If you like Mamet, check out The Winslow Boy. Something very different from him.

Just watched the first episode of Black Mirror. I don't think we'll be seeing that on network TV. Quite the story line.

Black Mirror

Have to say that all have been good except for Epsde 2, Season 2. That episode sucked Manute Bol dick. Stupid as fuck. Lame as hell. Very disappointing.

You guys keep mentioning Black Mirror and Rotten Tomatoes says it's solid so I'm going to check it out today. I'm a little confused though. It looks like there are 3 seasons, each with 3 episodes each. Is each episode related? What the heck am I about to watch? Kinda confused.

Jake, they are totally unrelated. I thought after the 1st episode it was going to be a series, but it wasn't. Each episode is something totally different and they never have the same actors. It's like the format of the Twilight Zone. An emphasis seems to be placed on technology.

Ep 2 of Season 2 --- if you don't like the first 10 minutes of that episode, take the DVD out and dump it in the toilet, then drop a mountainous deuce on it. That's the only way to make it better.

I've never placed any merit on Rotten Tomatoes. Like the reviews on Netflix, usually you've got to watch it and see if it works for you.
