As a rhythem Guitarist there is no better, his solo live acoustic version of Pinball Wizard is breath-taking. :drink:

Neil Schon of course

Neal Schon really is a great guitarist. He gets scoffed at by some because of the Journey thing, but he was a 15 year old kid playing at Woodstock with Santana and Clapton wanted him to be in Derek and the Dominos.

Jimmy Page was a wizard in the studio. One of the sloppiest guitarists live, and I'm a huge Zep fan. I'm sure the drugs had a lot to do with it.

Wow, Winbet remembers my 2nd Favorite Rory. My first is Stevie Ray and he is dead also. Was at his last show at Alpine Valley when he crashed.

I like Clapton.

Wow can't believe no ones mentioned Jeff Hanneman, or KirK Hammett!!!!!!

Most underrated, Robby Krieger (listen to wild child, or spanish caraven) and Billy Duffy (the whole electeric album some of the best riffs ever!!!!)

Slow hand is talented but overrated as a 'superstar guitarist'

I agree with the hype. He has listened to the greatest and learned from the old blues boys. Robert Jackson, Muddy Watters, and B.B.

Just appreciate the type of music. There are many more better players out there but lack the history and the genuine feel.

Nothin like the blues.
