Yeah but after a week when you took a guy in the 3rd rd when nothing about his situation really changed?

No injury, no other guy stepped up and is clearly going to have a bigger role than him, tough matchup.

I mean, it was entirely possible he could suck last night. Their offense had like 60 yards 2nd half before garbage time.

You dont think anything changed in his situation? Was supposed to be focal point of offense and had one catch on 3 targets in a game they were trailing for the majority.

Nah, not really.

Cook isn't gonna do anything close to that on a weekly basis. Raiders still want Cooper to be the man for them and Gruden loves feeding his #1 WR targets.

He might just suck, but I wouldn't determine that after 1 game. His situation is the same.

I haven't looked at much this week yet, maybe I'll change my mind and if I do I'll post it but I'd probably just go Cooper.

Enunwa is good. I’m on the record for darnold early on in his career. During the draft I’m on record for saying Darnold is the most NFL ready. But I liked Baker Mayfield long term the most. There are always busts in fantasy though. It’s about knowing your matchups. Don’t bench someone you drafted who has a decent matchup vs a free agent who has a great matchup...don’t do it. Only do it when the person you drafted has a terrible matchup and the free agent has a good matchup. Jets didn’t really have to play catch-up to any degree and he still got almost half of Darnolds targets. As long as he stays healthy I like him.

Im not gonna sleep on Brandon Marshall though, because most people will pass on him. Plus I have russel Wilson.

My fantasy player must get for this year which I didn’t share in here was Michael Thomas. I missed him in my draft by 1 pick. I got McCaffery instead. I was so pissed. McCaffery gonna get robbed on tds his whole career

CMC floor should be higher with Olsen dying but ceiling might be lower. Just not sure how good their offense can be.

Marshall does seem solid. Could be a nice late rd value in PPR. Seattle is never gonna stop throwing and Wilson will get his #'s one way or another. Probably a lot in garbage time if he stays healthy.

cooper and Michael Thomas were the two WRs I wanted this year. I only got cooper. He is one of those guys who will put up 200 yards 2 tds. Then come back and have 40 yards the next week. He needs to be more consistent overall. Thank god he doesn’t play the Rams twice. He tends to kill Kansas City though

I'm worried about mccaffery. Isnt built to handle 17-20 carries a game.

And week 1 was a perfect example of why I avoided him. Cam is the ultimate goal line vulture.

He went 8th overall in one of my drafts, one pick after AB.

Thomas wont match his week 1 numbers again all season long. Probably wont get close again

8th is too high. I picked 7th in a 10 team league and got him with my 2nd pick. After saquon Barkley fell to 7th for me.

Mcaffery is built. He isn’t undersized like people think he is. He can run inbetween the tackles no problem. NFL genes. I just want them to give him the fucking ball more. I think they just don’t want to wear him out early in the season. As the season gets deeper he will get the ball way more. I mean just look at where CJ Anderson went in the draft. He would be the steal of the season if they kept up this time share all year. No way.

I was really high on dion Lewis for PPR and managed to snag him for my better team. Seems like hes already pushing in front of Henry. If he stays healthy he will be great

He will have another 30 pt fantasy game. Count on it. Will be the #1 fantasy WR this year

I think he's better than Henry for their offense. He got stereotyped as a Patriots system RB but he was on the sauce heavy last year, one of the best RB's in the league by most metrics. 195 pound guy just breaking tackles all game. Gronk said after a game that if Lewis isn't letting guys tackle him then it motivated him to do the same since he is 60 pounds bigger.

And Delanie going down for the year will help his PPR.

But if he gets full workload he could die too. Seems like he should be a viable RB2 if healthy though.

Btw, I think Jonnu Smith could be solid. Delanie's backup if you need a TE.

What do you think about Chris Thompson? Started him in my flex and he was great. But was ultra efficient and seems tough to keep that up.

Also supposedly playing hurt

For now I plan to keep him at flex instead of tarik cohen

Chris Thompson.... probably will miss time at some point like he does every season. True game changer and difference maker though. People say you can find other Chris Thompson’s....I dno about that. His only knock is injuries. I’ll never forget when he broke his back vs Wake Forest. Came back the next year vs Wake Forest and had 200 yards rushing on like 9 carries and he barley played the 2h. Score was 31-0 at halftime. It felt like he went to the house every time he touched it

Does saints D bounce back against the browns or is it time to cut and run?

Not a lot of great options on my waiver wire and really dont feel like wasting bidding points on a D in week 2

Chop actually makes a good point about Gruden not being a good coach, carr not being a good qb and oakland not being a good team.

It's something that goes overlooked when drafting for fantasy. Players on good teams, in a good system, surrounded by other good players, are usually the most successful in fantasy.

Drafting a guy like cooper in round 3 when you know he has a shit coach, a shit qb, and a shit organization is a huge risk.

Speaking Tuesday, Raiders coach Jon Gruden said it was going to be "easier said than done" to spark Amari Cooper going forward.

That doesnt sound good.

I think I'm going to keep the saints defense in there this week. Sounds crazy, but surely they rebound at home against the browns. I really want to save my faab points this year for when that great opportunity/need arises

Just got offered an interesting trade.

I have ridiculous depth at wr in a 10 team league.

OBJ
AB
Josh Gordon
E Sanders

That is 4 potential wr 1s

I can only play 3 and thats with using my flex

Im getting offered bell for obj

rb is my weakness

I played mixon and AP this week.
I have Ingram waiting in the wings.

But other then that I have basically nothing
