I saw him in Wiesbaden Germany in the late 60's - read up on him, Hendrix was a fabulous guitar player as well a an innovative showman for that time.

BadCo, yes he hung himself in the 80s in Maryland I believe. Major smack problem. He was great. Personally his version of Jimi's 'Little Wing' is better in my humble opinion. Does a Neil Young song in which his wailing guitar playing gives me the chills. His voice was not very good so some of his stuff has other singers. Great great player.

Q-104 Just played "Tied to the Whipping Post"

Duane Allman is not Jimi, but he has to get some sort of honorable props.

Stevie Ray, was at his last show with Clapton and Buddy Guy. Have a virgin ticket from it. Is it worth anything?

I just hate the fact that this guy got clean and was ready for stardom and was taken so young.
