BEST CRAPS ODDS DOWNTOWN??? 100 TIMES ??

Last time I was at Sam's Town, they had 10X odds...I remember the 100X odds though also!

After reading Will Bill's article on the imminent demise of horseracing, I am happy to see him on the opposite side of the crapless craps debate.

Wild Bill, take your time to answer this, because analyzing facts, and using reason and logic to arrive at an answer is new to you. Which 36 theoretical comeout rolls would you prefer to have? 36 on the regular craps, with 8 wins, 4 losses, and 24 chances to take the maximum odds at no VIG? Or 36 on the crapless craps with 6 wins, and 30 chances to take the maximum odds at no VIG?

You still lose more money making equal bets, it is as simple as that. Odds mean nothing, the house edge on you is where they make money off of you.

If you bet $1 on the line in both games and ANY amount of odds after it, whether it be $2 in odds or $100 in odds, the house's profit off of you is theoretically higher on crapless it really is as simple as that. The odds are just a diversion, a good one to help you keep your line bet down, but still a diversion.

Stew & Wildbill...thanx for the reply...couple questions..Stew..where did you suggest is the best place to play craps in Vegas...not sure understand your earlier reply..are you also saying not too safe to walk somewhere from the Nuggett?..Seems the bad part of crapless craps is in getting your point to be the craps #'s and trying to hit them, the 2 would be terrible and the 3 would be the next worse...what odds do they play on the 2 and the 3?..But agree on that have big advantage on come out rolls and on come bets not losing on craps and still winning on 7-11...have not seen any books or info on crapless odds so might look up somewhere... Wildbill...the odds bets ARE the best bets in all of Craps...true odds and no vig...if Vegas wanted all the "rookies" to know about odds bets they would be in BIG red letters like all the rest of the sucker bets out there on the table!!!

Downtown is safe if you just stay on Fremont St, which is easy to do because all the casinos are located on or real close.
I alluded to playing craps at the Stratosphere, which is only about a mile away from the Golden Nugget, but you do not want to try to walk there, especially at night. Take a cab if you go, it will cost < $10.
Now crapless craps is good, but what is really good is the 100X odds. I haven't played at the Strat for sometime, it was 100X but it may have changed....I will try to get down there before the bash and make sure. If it has changed to 10X odds, then you are better off playing at Main Street Station (downtown), which, someone mentioned in this thread, has 20X odds.
Oh, and your question about crapless craps, about not wanting to try to shoot for the points, #2, @3, @11, and #12? Since the casinos pay the natural odds on all points, the point is actually immaterial. I actually like shooting for the #2 and #12, which pay 6-1 odds, and the #3 and #11, which pay 3-1 odds. Good luck no matter where you play.

WOW...think it might be fun to try some crapless craps...I also like the "odds" on the #2-3-11 and 12...Hey they are all just #'s and I make come bets so might as well get the ol'board loaded up and just not throw a 7...its that simple!!!!...Anybody who concentrates can throw other #'s other than a 7...just gotta put your mind to it...be a "rhythmic roller"...gotta be somebody who cares and tries and just dosen't throw the dice...Its all between the ears!!!

CC, try dicesetter.com...They have a Las Vegas Craps table directory. Some of the data is outdated but great place to start. Main street Station 20x, 4Queens 10x, Plaza 10X, Golden Nugget listed earlier in thread. Since you like odd and seem to have an interest in crapless craps, try my favorite move....Most casinos downtown don't charge upfront commission on buying the 4 and/or 10 unless it hits...(better odds than placing the 6 and/or 8) Good luck!!
