TSTC also had a huge move today but CCME stole the spotlight. I got in at low 16s, hoping it has a strong move to low 20s for a quick 25% return. I dont see how earnings can hurt this stick, should be a blowout quarter. Do you have any numbers for earnings expectations?

TSTC was presenting at the Redchip conference today, which was likely the reason for the big move in the stock today.

As for earnings, I'm expecting EPS of $1.30-$1.40 for the year, and .60-.80 EPS for the 4th Q, .60 being the least they should bring in. Basically, Q4 will represent close to the entire year of 2008, so this will be monstrous growth.

Just remember, they do have an open shelf offering. This will create some selling pressure immediately after earnings. If this gets to $22-24 before earnings, i'll reduce my position slightly, at least sell my trading shares.

But, if they end up doing .80 EPS, it'll probably hit $28-$30 within a few days.

It's important to keep track of who the people asking questions are. What we're looking for are the big boys (Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, etc) ... if they're on and asking questions and it sounds like they get a positive response, you can bet they'll be buying big tomorrow.

Hey Kuwl, I know this thread has been mainly for china micro-caps but I wondering if you took a look at MXL for tomorrow. This has been hyped to the moon and im sure valuations will be ruined within a few min of the close, not to mention it received Cramer's nod of approval. I was looking to get in early tomorrow and maybe sell within a week, any thoughts regarding a good entry point would be appreciated.

CCME Conference Call Summary:

1) Chairman thinks the CPM rates will equalize with direct competitors in the coming years as they strengthen their client-base (Its currently as low as 1/6th the CPM compared to VISN in same geographic area).
2) Direct-ad client CPM is roughly 15% higher than ad-agency clients
3) Ad-Inventory utilization is an amazing 97% giving plenty of pricing power.
4) 15% CPM raise in Q1 2010.
5) Guidance only includes current revenue streams/buses/contracts (Includes embedded ads but not soft ads, stationary media at bus-terminals, or new-services with hotels/local-attractions/etc)
6) Bus network going to 30k by end of 2010.
7) Being prudent to make wise acquisitions since they may very well hit 2010 earn-out without any acquisitions.
8) Margins will remain roughly the same in 2010 (I think they will rise a bit unless they make an acquisition which would lower their margin)
9) Guidance is based on 21k buses we have now, not including any from projected 30k network by end of 2010.
10) Q1 2010 will probably be a little weaker than Q4 2010 due to seasonality. Q3 and Q4 tend to be the strongest.

Hard not to become overly optimistic with a CC like the one they just had ... Certainly seems like that $71-75M guidance is leaving PLENTY of room on the upside even without any acquisitions.

No worries ... ABWTQ could keep running, it has a registered buyer right now. I'd recommend taking some profits in the .28-.32 range where it had trouble last time. But things are really coming together over there and it sounds like they're working on an Equity Committee as well. Always in your interest to take profits, but do so incrementally, maybe take 10-20% off every time you see a 25-50% gain.

I'm buying at the gap appx $13.50 ... i'll support the gap all day long, got filled for 1000 today at $13.52. This gap likely wont fill pending a market melt-down, which is possible.

For now, i'm supporting the gap. CCME has never had more than 3 red days in a row since January.

I didnt mean to sound negative in this post ... as you can imagine, it's quite frustrating when you see a stock getting sold off after just reporting monster earnings and sitting on a pile of cash. But, the market is inefficient.

What we need to realize is, they havent even filed their 10K yet, they just announced what revenues, earnings, etc were. So, when they file the 10K and people can look thru it line by line, the the buyers will come back in a hurry.

Wall St has the shortest attention span in the world. They rarely look out more than 2-3 days tops. They'll happily pay $15 for something they just sold for $13. It's a crazy world, but if you can keep a long-term perspective, you'll be fine. CCME will hit $30 this year, I have no doubt in my mind.
