CCME Presentation:
Most interesting parts of the presentation included a description of relationship with Transportation Ministry providing significant barriers to entry and the discussion of advertising rates, wherein CCME's CPM are significantly lower than other competing advertising mediums, providing advertisers considerable value in addition to enabling CCME pricing flexibility (increases) over time.
At the same time, audience engagment is very high given the medium and display environment, reaching hundreds of millions on an average 2.5 hour bus ride.CCME discussed its 100MM COH and a question was asked about the use of this money - CCME replied that the 100MM means that "they do not have all their chips in one basket" and moving forward they expect 50% organic growth and 50% from M&A, specifically acquisition in areas that they currently do not serve.
They also said they are exploring other forms of outdoor media. Also very impressive are the financials, specifically revenue growth (which we were aware of) and also extremely high margins.
