Hasn't quite put it together as a player?
No doubt he as a player has put it together.
6 seasons,made the playoffs all 6.
1st team all NBA
He averaged 30 ppg this season
Hell of a player
You must be a hater
Scoring numbers are good but he still resorts to shooting too many 3s too often, can disappear in big games . Brown sort of takes on the leader role late in games it seems like, at least in playoffs.

He also regressed a bit defensively this year. The whole team did

Making the playoffs 6/6 years not really a huge accomplishment, especially in the East.

Hell if Celtics lose today (they shouldn’t) then they aren’t running this shit back as constructed.

This is as easy as it’ll get for them going to the Finals

This C's team reminds of this year's UConn team. Everyman interchangeable on defense, no mouses, talented, deep and when they're on, nobody can compete.

I used to say this year's UConn team reminded me of the C's with those same comparisons, but the Huskies already have their title

C'mon C's, beat Philly

Sometimes you have some really silly takes. Simply off the wall bizarre

Well he's averaging 22.3 ppg for his playoff career.
He just made all NBA 1st team.
I think he's a super star.

I always liked Danny Ainge ?
Danny Ainge and Bill Walton played together on maybe the best NBA team ever - the 85-86 Celtics.

Larry Bird
Kevin McHale
Robert Parrish
Dennis Johnson
Danny Ainge

and coming off the bench:

Bill Walton
Scott Wedman

Those guys played as a team. Constant ball movement. Great defense. They didn't care who scored. They embodied what being a "Celtic" meant.

I agree he’s a super star . Just seems to play below his level in the playoffs. It’s kind of weird. The talent is indisputable but seems like something is missing in his game still. Maybe he just needs to be less trigger happy from 3

Guess it’s not all just him though. The team really seems to struggle at times running a good flowing half court offense, and playoffs obviously are gonna heighten that. Celtics should be the best team but seems like something is just…..off

It’s not exactly a rogue opinion lol they get to avoid the Bucks, play an 8 seed in the ECF.

They will make significant changes in the offseason if they don’t even get to the ECF .

Luckily they are playing against James Harden and Doc Rivers in a Game 7 so they should be fine

They’re deep and talented

But they don’t seem to be as locked in consistently as last year. Playing with their food too much — struggling to guard a trash team like the Hawks, struggling against Philly.

When they’re pushing the ball and getting chances to set up in the half court defensively they are tough to beat

Are they suppose to sweep the Hawks and 6ers?

They had to go to Game sevens against both. I'm hoping they move on. But they have made it much too difficult for the team they are supposed to be.
Survive and advance.

Now that's a great take. :)

They're making it harder than they should have. In this series, they should not have lost game 4. It's almost as if they need their backs against the wall.

They also have a very young rookie coach. I loved Ime, Joe not there yet
