The picture was later voted the best rock and roll photograph of all time by Q, although at the time Smith did not want the picture used. She did not feel it was a technically good shot because the photograph is slightly out of focus (as she was backing away from Simonon to avoid getting hit). However, Joe Strummer convinced her to use the shot. The broken remains of Simonon's bass are in the permanent collection of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

i cant believe "captain fantastic and the brown dirt cowboy" did not make the list of the top 50 for the 70's. artwork, imagination and uniqueness on that one was a classic to me.

That is a great cover.
