How are they gonna contain a hot Carr/Waller combo?

How can they possibly go on the road and beat the mighty Titans with their bell cow returning?

Can they even keep it close against the future GOAT Mahomes and the big, bad Chiefs?

And here we are again……suddenly the Rams, who were flakey all year long, are world beaters and the Bengals don’t stand a chance

Same shit, different week

Bengals are a great team with talent on both sides of the ball, well coached, and playing with a ton of confidence. They are far from flawless, and probably have the inferior roster top to bottom here, but they absolutely can win this game.

More than the Mahomes factor, the pre-game talk all centered on the offensive line and how they would be dominated...that didn't happen. Now, we have the exact same narrative with the Rams defensive line. That "advantage" can be mitigated by play calling especially with Boyd in the slot and the RB's out of the backfield. Those d-lineman are going to get tired chasing the Bengals around in 80+ degrees.
Biggest intangible for me is that Burrow is a winner and Stafford is a loser ie. his lifetime record, the dropped interception and lack of cover vs SF. I trust Cinn more to make 2H adjustments and if, for instance LAR gets out to a big lead, they have lost in that situation (up 17-0 to SF when they were trying to win the division) and we know Cinn can comeback from a deficit...see last week. Let's go 23-20 Cinn.

Well said

Also are we sure that 40 year old Whitworth is going to be able to contain Hendrickson?

I'm on Ram$ Moneyline big but I think Bengals are much better than people are willing to give them credit for. Still. Even after everything. I think it's the notion that the beat a not so great Raiders team. Then against Titans, Henry was rusty, maybe all of the Titans were, plus, you know, it's Tannehill. Then against the Chiefs it's like, oh Chiefs had it won. Chiefs beat themselves in the second half. Bengals didn't win it.

Very good Bengals team and Burrow is fantastic. Bengals bend but don't break D might frustrate Stafford.

But I think that's the reason many all still disrespected the Bengals. I don't. I still think Rams win though.

I would not call the Bengals a great team - but theyre in the SB for a reason - like many, I think the Rams win this game by 10 pretty easily

If the Bengals aren't a great team, then neither are the Rams

This is a pretty good match-up

How the hell is 40 year-old Whitworth gonna handle Hendrickson?

People should be talking about Bengals defensive line more

Bengals OL is weak and the Rams have playmakers on defense that will make for a long day for Cincy. Rams will get a lot of sacks and a few turnovers.

I do not agree OP. Cincy favored over LV. only a 3.5 dog against the #1 seed. and KC did beat themselves. I see a relatively close game here with LAR pulling way late. see what goes down.

Bengals defensive line ate up Chiefs offensive line in the second half even with dropping 8 into coverage

They’ve been doing that all year along

How is Stafford going to handle pressure

Bengals didn't sack Mahomes all game. In the second half Cincy rushed 3 with a spy and stayed in their lanes to keep Mahomes in the pocket. Mahomes was just bad and it wasn't from pressure.

They got after him all half long. He was running backwards several times and was fortunate to not get sacked much. Though I don’t get how he didn’t get sacked when he in fact did 4 times….

A few other plays Mahomes was running for his life. That last drive at the end of regulation was a good example.

Go watch the film. Hendrickson and Hubbard were eating their line alive

The Rams have two of the best OT in the league. How is Cincy going to block Donald, Floyd and Miller?

Whitworth can be had. He’s not what he once was , though he’s still obviously good given his age. Bengals have the best edge rusher in this game in Hendrickson, despite Donald obviously being the best overall defensive linrman

Bengals will need their TE’s to step up in blocking. I want the Rams to rush more though because the screen pass is a big part of Bengals offense, with Mixon and Perine

The way I see it: I don’t think either offensive line is well equipped to pass-protect in this particular match up, though I think Rams have edge in run blocking
