Willie, point I was trying to make is, both squads are on a downslide from their glory days of a few years ago.
Giants more so than the Pats.

OK, peace

I really didn't want to bash any team, but such threads have a way of digressing

I was just toying with haters

Can't debate that he's an asshole though.

Good question? I STILL haven't read an answer. This is conveniently avoided.

While he's running up the score in 2007 against many of his opponents, why isn't this prick worried about his Golden Boy QB getting hurt then?

The record is misleading(that word again). The Patriots over the years have played very easy schedules(cupcakes).

Yeah, they play the Colts once a year. We all know the results of those.

Their division is horrific.

For those guys who remember the the 49'ers of the 80's into the 90's. Very similar.

They(49'ers) played in the worst division in NFL history.

Every week they played an easy opponent. I rarely remember them playing against decent competition during the regular season.

The Patriots are a team who still wins vs. inferior competition. Now they struggle against above 500 teams.

Their 1st Super Bowl is still up for debate for those who are counting rings. They lost that night to the Raiders. That was COMPLETE BULLSHIT!!!! 911? Hmnnn.....

What goes around comes around for this coach. Karma has caught up to him.

yeah Tymmy none of these boston clowns can answer the question that i have asked at least 6 times in this thread and was the whole reason i started this thread...ill give them one more shot

why would belicheat take out Brady down 21 with 5 min's to go yet leave Brady in when the pats are blowing teams out???

its called he is a sore loser and a coward...still waiting for another reason why he would do this that makes sense

and you idiots saying he does not leave brady in during blowouts make me laugh

against the jets 2 weeks ago he was thorwing deep with brady up by 3 scores with a couple min's left...he does this all the time

I am so sad today. I went with the patriots and the over.
If Patriots went for the Field Goal in stead of trying to go for a touchdown it would have gone over. And if Patriots kick the field goal if might have changed to momentun because I think the defense feels that the coach does not have faith in them that is why he always go for the touchdown instead of taking points. He had lots of time on the clock when he had that choice and I think he was down by 14 points.

people already answered the question, he took Brady out because he thought the game was lost.

Since the Patriots would have to be in an all out passing attack, the Saints would be teeing off on Brady. Why let your franchise be a sitting duck in that situation?

Now for my question, did I really need to explain this to you?

hatred makes people sound really stupid

get in the game already

because its still a 2 score game. so saints get ball, you have to stop them. then score. then stop saints again, then score. wasn't going to happen.

What a shocker- people from NY and Baltimore hating on Boston... Jealousy at it's finest...

If he left Brady in with 5 minutes left and he breaks his leg then he takes a beating in the media. If he pulls Brady with 5 minutes left he is a coward..Either way he loses.... Keep hating people, we love this stuff!

Except if the Saints get a FG they go 3 scores up instead of 2. I'm a Pats fan and i wanted a FG there. =[

He was throwing deep up 17 points because fat Rex and pinhead bart Scott talked smack all week. Rex told him he is not here to kiss Bellicheck's rings and Bellicheck said suck on these balls. Keep hating because Boston fans love the hate..

Dude, your argument is stupid. What exactly is wrong with running up the score? Didn't Brady and Moss break TD records that year? Not saying that Belichick cares about records but if they are on pace for breaking any record i would let my players play.

Did some of guys watch the game last night? I keep reading they should of kicked the field to cut it to 11... The Saints were going to score when they got the ball back no matter what... The Saints would have beaten the AFC pro bowl team last night... This Saints team is one of the better teams i have seen in a long time and it is going to take somebody with a strong front seven to disrupt that passing attack. The Pats shouldnt of even been on the same field with them last night and the field goal wouldnt have mattered either way.

Francessa has been killing BB all day on his syndicated show.

Steve Young said, BB acted like the little brother who was getting hammered by his brother in a chess match, where the little brother is a fit of frustration knocked down all the chess pieces and said "I quit, you win"

The heading to this thread alone indicated it was going to be a thread full of garbage and nothing more. Surprised it lasted this long.

Steve Young has been hating on BB for years- Young also would have hammered him if Brady got hurt during the final 5 minutes... Can't win either way

I think Bill is one of the best coaches of all time and I have defended him time and time again. But last night was an obvious case of him being a sore loser. Even if your chance of winning is less then 1 percent, you do everything you can to win the game. You atleast owe it your players who bust there ass for you week in and week out. Obviously no one can say for sure what was going through his mind at the time, but if you really believe he was thinking about protecting Brady, I think you are being very naive.

Apropos of nothing, favorite Belichick moment was when he walked out on the Jets as they were about to announce him HC.

i think he accepted "in good faith" a $1,000,000 bonus, to be the HC when tuna left. but since hess died, he reneged. IIRC

they have NOT been the same since they got they're hand slapped for the biggest cheating scandel the NFL has had since...? NFL "oh it was no biggie, so we burned the tapes" ?? really? WTF? can you say 'lets pretend that never happenned?"

Didnt they go 18-1 and lost last second in the superbowl??? I think they have done something since then-
