Hasn't anybody ever heard of CREDIT? That has been the backbone of sports wagering since the beginning of time. Billy Walters has never been slowed down because he couldn't transfer money.
what this thread i think may be about.....is no longer being able to pick off stale lines on sports such as tennis or something at slower moving books and no more bonus profits like it used to be in the early 2000's.....im not saying Red isnt a winner at foots and baskets.........but this is my guess.....a lot of guys were making money scalping and bonus whoring....they couldnt pick 50% to save their lives, but they didnt need to.........things are different now

I picked up some money with bonuses, but primarily stayed with same shops. Pinny,OLY, Cascade, Bet MIll, Cris, BoDog etc, Skybook, Most of those outside of Skybook did not have reup bonuses, so thats not what I primarily did. Did not scalp either. My biggest play out their was attacking the adjusted halftime line in all sports. I had a mathmatical formula. It worked ! College BB took a tremendous amount of $$ to impliment what I was doing , so during the course of a night or a Saturday when you had 50 games tipping off within a hr you would occasionally run out of cash at a shop. You throw in the fact that other sports are also being played at same time and you can see how getting money transfered quickly was a big help. Could I have had more $ in those shops then I was playing with, probably, but I had it spread over 20 different shops for different reasons, but nobody here would advocate sticking everything they have into these shops, would they ? Fact is the offshore industry is not what it was, its not as safe, not as affective, which was a primary reason for taking a break. As far as picking games over 50%, I think I did pretty well their too.Didn't have the time to beat my chest with documented plays , but won my share of contests thru this forum and was even able to take my son to the Super Bowl as the Skybook handicap winner in 04. If certain posters want to believe that Transfering money quickly is not important , so be it, I happen to think otherwise, sorry that its hogwash with the so called Professionals here.

Credit ? Where have you been wagering ? I have never made a wager on credit and I certainly don't intend to ever start !

I am not talking about the money.

I am talking about the amount of time it consumes. Research, watching games to get a feel for teams, etc.

Also, the biggest problem for those that live in the EST, CST time zone is that sports occurs in primetime hours in the evenings and weekends. This time that could be spent with friends and family.

If you live in Hawaii and does this for a living, imo, that is not too bad.

You really don't have to explain your system or handicapping. I have stated many times that you are the best Sports handicapper I have ever known and you have proved it on this site and to me many times over the last 25 years. Some people just want to believe that nobody can consistently win. Real Pros don't have to go around pounding theie chest about how great they are. Those types usually go into handicapping business because they can't make any $$ in the real world.
