Auburn vs Oregon
Pick: Auburn -1.5
Since Cameron Newton has proven he is the nation's premier player, will lay less than a FG with an Auburn squad that played a much tougher schedule than Oregon, which feasted in the mediocre Pac 10. Newton is surrounded by a more dangerous supporting cast than Duck QB Thomas, who heavily relys on speedy RB James. And while Oregon has been able to speed up the tempo and wear down most foes, that won't be the case vs. a tough, deep Tiger D that can hold up without showing fatigue. Any team that can overcome a 24-0 deficit to Nick Saban and a superb Bama squad gets my vote. Remember, the Oregon D couldn't deal with Ohio State's dual threat QB Pryor LY and they won't have much success this campaign.
