We really need a fucking playoff.

Florida
Oklahoma
Texas
USC

Clearly the 4 best teams, big gap between them and anyone else.

No, I see people saying that the Big Ten is #4, #3, never once have I seen a poster on here say they are the #1 conference in the country this year. Find me a post by a poster on this forum to back up your statement.

So you're talking historically, but when someone brings up a historic record you discredit it? Ok, so you talk about history, but only the small range of history that favors your bias, correct?

just don't manipulate the stats to prove your point. college football is cyclical. 2 bad years should not discredit a conference.

8 bad years not 4. The Big Ten has been in decline for the last decade...

4-9 in 8 years 8-9 in 10 years... I did not manipulate the numbers, I stated what their record was for 10 years, just showing that they are in decline and have been for the last 8 years...

I did not hide anything I broke it all down. If I manipulated the numbers I would not have included the first 2 years at all, I would have hid them like they did not exist...

You can disagree or not like what I am saying but I did not lie, manipulate, or make anything up. Just stated the facts as they are...

Big Ten will go 0-2 in the BCS again this year to make them 8-11 all-time, 4-11 the last 9 years, and 0-6 the last 3 years...

Can you argue with me that the Big Ten is not in decline? If so present facts contrary to the fact that it is in decline as a conference...

Historically in the BCS and I am talking about the whole BCS. This is year 11 of the BCS, so where is my bias. I state the whole record and break it down further...

So where is my bias. It's called researching a subject. I break numbers down to show the conference has and is in decline. Can you give me any facts to refute this statement???

You're talking about the entire BCS, but when you talk about the entire BCS, you get rid of years to prove your point. You're ignoring information that is relevant to the discussion. That's manipulating statistics in order to fulfill your bias.

Unload Texas over OSU. Penn St. beat them on the road and Texas is just as good as USC.

Texas is just a good as USC...What planet are you living on. I live here in Dallas and make a pretty good living with select recruiting services for the NFL and college. Feel pretty confident in saying that Texas does not have a receiver or RB or probably even QB that could make the USC roster. Texas is propped up by the weak defenses in the Big 12. Colt McCoy is a nice college QB, but USC has 3 QBs on their roster right now that will get good looks in the NFL. While Texas may in fact beat Ohio St, they could not come close to USC. There is not a team in college football that is as good as USC in a 1 game elimination type scenario.

Just my thought. Not sure anyone else caught that comment.

Defense isn't as good, but they have a better offense. OSU is alot worse than Penn St.

You are out of your mind. SC has a lot more talent than Texas. Also, that OSU/PSU game was basically a tossup. If PSU doesn't get a gift turnover, Buckeyes probably pull out the win.

Doesn't matter if USC is better than Texas both will destroy OSU. Texas leads Big 12 in sacks and Pryor will be running for his life all game.

No one could beat USC in a big game. UF, OK, TEXAS would all be blown out. It isn't just the big ten, they have been in all their game except two this year. USC has just out recruited everyone in the country.

Someone posted the entire record of the Big Ten in BCS bowls, the subject at hand. You decided to take the record, take out the first two years (you didn't like how they looked) in order to fulfill your bias, and posted an irrelevant record. When called out upon it by multiple posters, you refused any wrong doing for manipulating statistics in order to reach your point.

Then you made an incorrect statement that multiple people on this board are saying the Big Ten was the best conference in the country, but when asked to find one post that said that, you came up with nothing and avoided the question. Again, find me a post by someone who said that the Big Ten is the best conference in the country.

It's really not rocket science. Read the thread, from top to bottom, look what you did, and realize your mistakes.

It is relevant to omit the 99-00 years because he is trying to make a point that the B10 is in its present state very weak. 8 years is a long time...what have they done recently?
