2yrs ago I was a noob and had a hoot.
Greendoberman,MrLeisure, Akillies and Q-leap took me under their wing......took me to dinner and got me loaded!!

They left me hanging last year. They must have known something.

From reading this thread it sounds like most of the posters here goes alone without a significant other. Can someone who attends these bashes regularly tell me what the percentage who attend brings a wife/girlfriend vs coming alone.

Not sure about percentage, But there were a few that brought their Wifes/Girl Friends...Myself Included
This was at the Dinner...

When it came to the Hanging out, it was just the Guys.

My 2cents is...It only makes sense to bring the wife / Girl Friend, because the Room is paid for, and so is the Dinner ( Bash Party )

Your Out of pocket would be an extra Plane Ticket and Meals in Between
and of Course...Gambling.

Therx heads should think about maybe the Grand Sierra in Reno to save a few bucks.

Just got back from staying there and it's nice as was opened originally as MGM Grand.

Right near the airport a free shuttle every half hour and I gotta tell you I see way more single women running around than you see in Las Vegas as in Vegas they are all with a date or a pro........LOL


And there is a hell of a lot more to do in surrounding area,hell if you trout fish the Truckee river is right out side the front door.

That and Mark Twain dubbed Lake Tahoe the eighth wonder of the world all though the lake in the summer is way to crowded.
