Whalewager, actually it looks to me like you would have been better off if you stayed banned.

JK - I am sorry to hear about this for several reasons, first is just general principle, second is I hate to see posters fallout like this mainly because now just like Insiders and Clipt Joint we probably have lost a long time poster because he owes someone else on the site money. I posted the following in the Insiders thread and it applies here also:

"I tended bar for years in the same place and natrually became friends with many many regulars over the years and I found out the hard way the easiest way to lose: 1st. a customer for your employer and the revenue he generated, 2nd a friend (to some degree) to yourself, and 3rd. a good customer who usually tipped you OK which added to your weekly income, was to lend that customer money, you lost all of the above plus the loan money itself while your ex-customer did his drinking at your competition's place".

WW you do have my sympathy.

Timetopay, you are starting to really get on my nerves.

wil..

Wil- I can see how you generally dont appreciate my posts but what did I do in this one. I helped out a fellow member and another poster has bashed me and whale the whole way through this.

What did I do in this one that annoyed you?

Timetopay, are you making this big of a deal out of a $20 loan?? Whale gave most of the money. He will pay you back in a few weeks, dont worry.

Whalewager is this forums BOWLFORONE or whatever his user ID is across the street. Baseball guy is like MADCAPPER.

Madcapper was funny in that he spent over 1 year owing $1000 then ONLY made payments arrangements after threads like this one. His payment arrangement was for $20 a week and HE DIDNT even do that. Eventually after 2 years or so SHRINK paid the debt I think, but those were real funny threads as well

In fact I just read the whole thread and I thought I was pretty positive.

The BOS thing was a joke.

Why anyone would bash someone for lending or even giving someone some cash I will never know. It is not like WW gave baseball guy some crack.

I commend WW, timetopay and anyone else who reached out to help a fellow poster. I have done this numerous times. This business has been very good to me so there is no reason to not give back. I believe baseball guy truly intended to pay back these loans, but who knows what happened.

It feels good to give money to those who need it. Some of you will obviously never get to feel that feeling.

sorry to hear this happened. I don't remember paypal that well but I remember seeing the person's physical address when I was sending them payment, whether it was ebay or a friend. I know it was only $200, but this guy sounded like a real deadbeat. Ruffle some feathers if possible and then make a pit stop at MadCapper's hot dog cart... I mean house.

I still believe that baseballguy will come through. I have seen him post on the forum in a while and he's having problems(maybe).

Baseballguy guy reminds me of someone who has scammed me over big time. This guy sounds so like him. I hope he will come back and keep his words like a man.
Some people take advantage of people who want to help out those who seem to be desperate and in need.

Saying your posting about it to "prevent it to happening to others" is bullshit. There is a thread about someone getting scammed like this every couple months, they dont stop them from happening. A sucker is born every minute.

This thread is a desperate attempt to either get revenge, attention, or pity - or all three. If you want to claim you did something out of the goodness of your heart, you can not whine about being taken advantage of at the same time. The two do not go together.

Dont eat the yellow snow!Should I post a thread to warn everyone?? No, its common sense.

If you REALLY gave money just to help a bprother out then youd not care what the fuck he did with it or if he ever repaid you.

This all became really comical when then guy posted about sending wahle money to compensate him. I think all begging threads should be locked or deleted asap. And dont be fooled, thats what this is. Broke folks begging.

Yeah anyone who rips WW is a freaking retard, the guy did a good deed, and said that he didnt mind righting off the loss right away, and people still rip him?

That boggles me, but anyways, regardless if Baseball Guy paid back or not, he should at least chime in with a "thank you" to WW or something

WW:

I do feel bad that you were not paid. That is sh*tty.

Am I the only person that thinks $100 is a lot of money? Has everyone become jaded by wagering hundreds of dollars a game?

I say he pays, he will appear sooner or later.

I am very insecure, so you may be dead on with this.

Can I request that the mods either delete this thread or send it to the rubber room please.
