After 9/11/2001, we knew full well that OSB lived in Afghanistan. We also knew the planning for the act took place in the country and the Taliban provided safe haven for the terrorists.
What should we have done differently? In all seriousness.
So the U.S. military is currently in Afghanistan nine years later seeking to bring the 9/11/2001 perpetrators to justice?
How many more hundreds (or thousands) will they kill before they get the right ones?
How many more of my American brothers and sisters must be added to the 9/11/2001 initial body count of approximately 2800 before we're "even"?
Last I checked, the U.S. military has sent close to 5000 American men and women to their deaths as part of the "revenge" for the acts of 9/11/2001
Maybe 6000 is the magic number when we can finally declare "victory".
Or 7000
Osama Bin Laden has triumphed. His goal was to break down the U.S. economy and bankrupt our federal government and unless there's some changes coming which I don't know about, he's pretty much pulled it off. And the worst part is, we just keep giving him more bodies.
Many Americans cheer this outcome, whiile others of us remain horrified
It's only a "game" for those moving the U.S. military troops like pawns in chess
But since "game playing" seems to be in vogue for you cats in your shiny uniforms....I'll roll the dice once
If killing Afghans and Iraqis is the secret to "making America safe" (it's truly impossible to keep a straight face when typing those three words), then "I" would mobilize the entire U.S. military worldwide and ship them into Afghanistan. We will stretch them in a skirmish line stretching from the north border to the south border and sweep east/west like a plague of locusts - killing every brown skinned potential "terrorist" in our path.
(Any Afghan civilians caught up in the genocide are simply Collateral Damage, so don't whine - THIS IS A FUCKING WAR, you U.S. civilian pussies!)
Nukes would of course be a lot faster and cheaper, but then U.S. corporate interests would lose the petroleum pipeline which bisects the country and I think that none of us would want to piss off the Real Masters here, eh?
I am asumming you have spent time in the middle east I have two different freinds that saw actual combat time and were injured and I can assure you that they both feel it is a waste of time over in afgan
This is seriously your answer? .
