The problem in europe is the little guy gets regulated and taxed to death by local and national government brownshirts.

You're not allowed to take any risk or work for yourself unless you're on their official government database.

Window cleaner Plumber whatever.
You must be "licenced" ie yet another form of government tax charge, and insured and regulated.

The internet is pretty much the last place you can go and have a shot without some officious government bastard getting in your face nowadays.

Bed and breakfasts have pretty much disappeared in Edinburgh in recent years, the industry has been regulated to death by officious local government brownshirts.

Large corporate hotels are opening up to fill the void, planning permission rubber stamped by local government, while other local government assholes destroy the earnings stream of local B&B people with heavy handed regulation and red tape.

They did it with the residential homes for the elderly in Edinburgh a few years back.

It's corporate fascism.

I think the bailout was a horrible move....Our country needed to take its medicine and we would have rebounded faster..now we just delayed the worst is yet to come.....


Problem is Obama is going to try and hand out checks and make the problem worse...LOOK Pelosi is already calling for more Stimulus??

WTF is wrong with these people....They should read Alberts definition of insanity.....because that is what they are doing....Either way Obama is going to lead this country downward IMHO

I'll give Barack 4 years(like we have a choice) to do what he must, but I believe people will realize that we made a mistake IMO
