PISTON/PACER 2H Undah 100.5 (-110) $8

Clampdown time on a team (IND) that has wracked up 50+ point halves in 11 of their past 12

Indy's already hit 13 FTs and we'll be surprised if they get more than ten more. Add in 18 FGs and they'll be struggling to hit the 100 mark.

Chicago utterly dominating on the glass so far and very light on FT attempts. Looks to be a real off night for Raptors. Unless they really crank it up, this should be a pretty good spot to pair with the aforementioned Detroit defensive clampdown of Pacers

Another nice 13 1/2 pt middle here

BEE/LITTLE MAVERICKS 2H Undah 95.5 (-110) $6

Last time these two played was NBA playoffs in May. Mix in their traditional divisional mashing and this one begs to stay well under 200.

Late Night Bite

2TeamParlay

STATE -210 vs King
CLIPPER +155 vs Hawk

Lay 12
Pays 33.17
----------------

In the former game we get a rested Golden State playing a beleaguered Kings squad that got racked last night and has won only twice on the road this year

In the latter game we have the Hawks playing B2B, 3rdin4 against a Clippers team that is rested for two days. Past two seasons, Clippers - when playing with 2+DaysRest - are 9-12, a respectable mark when compared to their overall record.

Atlanta meanwhile - since the opening week of season when they popped off four road wins - has won only three times Away in 15 chances.

Best to us all for a good late card

Took Thursday off, though we quite honestly capped out all three games as CHI, DEN and POR 2H if NJ won first half. Good to see that our eye is sharp though we made no $$

FRIDAY, Jan 16

Using PHIL +2.5 in my recently revised 2Teamer O' Day thread (NHL forum)

Spurs playing Away After Allowing 8+ above their DefensiveAverage are 1-8 SU and 0-9 ATS going back to beginning of last season.

Meanwhile, Sixers enter coming off a game in which they Allowed 8+ below their DefensiveAverage. They're 2-1 SU this year when facing that role and the NBA as a whole is 88-58 SU.

A nice combination of angles

The other night we tried a 2Teamer in which we faded both ATL on the road and SAC since they collectively had just five wins between them on the road over past two months.

And we were wrong on both

Tonight we're going to try it again, this time fading ATL (again) and MIL

KING (even) vs Buck
STATE (even) vs Hawk

------------------

Bucks are 0-13 SU when playing at Denver and all points further west, going back to early last season when they beat the Clippers in LA

And while it's easy to hate the Kings after seeing them get wracked at home by Orlando the other night, we must realize that for the Magic it was a night in which they were setting franchise records for 3Pt shooting - among other offensive madness. Watching the game live here in Florida via the miracle of the SunSportsNetwork feed, I think the Kings about late third period just said, "screw it" and just quit trying to fight the Magic night. And subsequently, they hung tight over three freaking overtime periods to best GState on the road.

Additionally, with their having allowed 244 in their past two games (regulation time) Sacramento for the fifth time this year is playing After Allowing 16+ pts over DefensiveAverage(2games). In the previous four times facing this role, they're 4-0 SU
===

Meanwhile, the Hawks with their own win vs LAC the other night raised their lowly road record to just 4-11 since their early November hot start on the road. Unlike the offensively challenged Clippers, we think the Warriors can put up enough points to counter any surge the Hawks might make on their end vs the lesser GState defense.

We like this spot as it's the one quarter Wolves have averaged winning in Away games this year and it's a -2 scoring margin for Phoenix this season so far at Home

SATURDAY, Jan 17

2TeamParlay

BULL +3 (-110) vs St Tony
NET +7 (-110) vs Irish

Lay 12
Pays 31.20
------------------------

Spurs ATS loss at Philly extends their string of being winless ATS on the road After Allowing 100+ pts. Let's see if Chicago SU win vs Cavs the other night gives them enough spark to pull their first three game win streak since spring of 2007, when they were running them off in bunches

Meanwhile, Boston in ten games this year playing Away After Home is 5-5 SU and just 2-8 ATS (-7)

Celtics also in the role of playing Away After Scoring 8+ Above their OffensiveAverage. They're 1-1 in that spot, but the league as a whole is just 46-80 with under 25% of those games beating the -7

Best to us all for a profitable Saturday

Nets at Home following a straight up Home Loss are 4-3, covering the +7 an equal four times.

Other likely big pop will be on NY Knicks hosting Philly

Also looking at Denver 1H vs Orlando

NO/Cle, Por/Cha, Mia/Hou, Mil/LAC Unders all look good but we'll wait for halftime to play the available Middles if any

ADDING NYK ml (+110) via my 2Teamer O Day thread (nhl forum)
Also includes a repackaging of Bulls, this time at +3.5 (-110)

Unless the Nets rally to cover the +7, we'll grade Bulls using the latter line and price
