Ball State was the right side in this game, it was just more right early in the week when they were -6. Once the line got to -7 it became something close to a coin toss, which is about what you'd expect out of a game that ended with a push for late bettors.

I jumped on CMU when it opened at +7 and BOUGHT the 1/2 point! +7.5 = $$$! RIGHT SIDE for me!

Like I said I was on Ball St too so I cashed, but if you actually watched the game and didn't whore the forums the whole time you would know you shouldn't have won your bet.

I'm not sure what you saw that makes you think that. The two teams were roughly even in total yardage (a slight edge to CMU, but not much), but Ball State had a noticeable edge in offensive line vs. defensive line. That allowed them to run the ball a lot easier in the late stages of the game and that efficiency let them put one extra touchdown on the board. They've been doing that pretty much all season.

I actually bet Ball St. at 6 shortly after it opened(check VOR's thread). CMU just absolutely controlled the game the first half. Some key drops for Ball St. helped. I just thought the 4th came out of nowhere from Ball. Once again good bet sir, I just felt lucky to win mine.

Nah, I think you did a good job of getting the better team at a good line. I sort of expected the first half would go something like it did, as that's been Ball's pattern recently. They've been wearing opponents down in the first two quarters than taking over after the half.

The only thing that might make you feel lucky was Central Michigan's missed field goals, but that guy's been missing makeable FGs all season long, so it wasn't a shocker.

Maybe you need to read the whole thread...Got it at 6.5:ohno:

Yeah, nice win, posting it at 7, then after I tell you the line drops you say you got it locally at -6.5. LMFAO, why the hell did you even post 7 in the first place? Anyways, you got lucky to win at -6.5, as CMU was easily the play all nite.

My Indiana Local gave me Ball St. -6.5...so I will go 5 units instead of 4:cripwalk:

Good call! Ball St was the right side...

my local had -6.5...Lefevre was very good until the last 5 min of the 4th. Ball St defense sucks.
