Other than Bridge, THE most challenging & the most fun is Pinochle, I play only Dbl Deck 4 handed partners. Most guys who've been in the military know how to play. Great game. This will sound bad, but, I know how good I am, very. Having said that I knew a guy @ Forbes AFB, Ka, who was just as good. One time they sent the 2 of us on a prisoner PU to Lowry AFB, Co. Short story. 1st nite in the NCO club we started talking to 2 black guys, stationed there. Said they liked the game, Jay & I looked @ each other & said OK. For a .5 a point & $20 a game. Like 2 rubes we didn't require a "settle up" after ea. game. Shortly we were up $100 +, of course 1 went to the john, and before long both disapeared. As we were just there overnight There was no way to find em. Lesson learned.hno:

got to play against a person for the first time last night, lost my first game and then proceeded to win the next two. I would guess that the skill level wasn't that high. Learned alot and more important confirmed that it's a great game. I really look forward to learning this game. Enjoy your day.

Can't argue facts....Leo did take my XMAS bonus in the 90's.....I was still learning the game back then....

When is the rematch? You are the only guy that has a winning record against me....

I play beavers and racoons for small stakes...20 bucks and under....those are really fun and makes you think twice about offerring the cube...I don't gamble high with players I have just met or don't know...I play with Jeff Whitelaw for 50 a point and neither of us gets rich....he is a very good player; one that I know I cannot beat long term...

JW does seem to be the best of the group. He and S seem to be very good. I will sit and play for $100/pt even though I have no business doing so. I have come to find the game to be quite fun. Though I have never seen you play, I do enjoy hearing the stories of you flying in, reloading and flying out.
