Also worked my ass to go from the ground up at a company and now have been the president and sole officer of the business for the past three years. I have 25 employees, most of whom are older than me. My daddy didn't give me a business. I worked my ass off for every penny I have. And my wife (also a millennial) also has a successful career and doesn't believe any of those things you were saying either. We raise two kids and instill our same beliefs and work ethics in them.


Both my wife and I boomer parents are now at retirement age with no retirement because that entire generation spent like there was no tomorrow. We financially support our boomer parents. And many of our friends are in the same position. Hard working fiscally responsible millennials now shouldering the burden of their parents total lack of financial planning.

I have paid every cent of my $50,000 in student loans and do not think college should be free. Neither do any of the other millennials I know. In fact they think it's total bullshit if college became free when they worked their asses off to pay their student loans.

People don't get that millennials are in their mid 30s now. We had a small setback because of the economy when we were graduated college due to financial mis management of a generation before us. But we have all long overcome the setback.
