Bucks +5.5

I don't like this line. I see a very competitive game. I obviously like Boston in the series . If I was forced to predict a score I would say Boston by somewhere between 3-5 points. Think it is tight but the Celtics pull it out. Not the end of the world if I'm wrong about this Milwaukee pick given my investment in Boston for the series

Warriors -4

I think Memphis is demoralized not only from losing Game 4 the way it did, but the fact that they know they're not getting Ja Morant back. Think Warriors win this one easily as long as they shoot a moderately well percentage.

That Warriors loss should've counted as like 5 losses. Pound em Friday

May 12

Sixers -2

Ugh I don't know. One of those home-sweep type series. Miami is the better team, but I think Embiid has a big game to rally his team to a Game 7. Not enough of a reliable scoring punch outside of Butler on Miami to feel confident they take care of business.

Suns -2

Wouldn't be shocked if Dallas wins tonight. They're a team that seems to thrive playing at home. But I think maybe Phoenix finally woke up mid way through that last game, and think they will do anything to gain a rest advantage over Golden State.

OOOOOOF. Let's get back on track. I'll be up at Chase Center trolling Brooks. Looking forward to it.

Getting these in now cuz in Vegas/fear hangover level early tomorrow.

I think chance of both faves covering is greater than vice versa, so going to go with the faves though I think the lines for both of these games are pretty good.

Rocky second round. Wanna grab this now before it shifts back

May 17

Heat -1.5

Think we are in for a great series, and the rested Heat take the first game. Boston coming off an emotional comeback series and think they’re a tad flat in this game. They may get going in second half but think Heat will come out scorching (no pun intended)

Game 1's are tough, and wouldn't be surprised by anything here. But I think Golden State is rested and hungry to come out and make a statement in Game 1. I think after an extended rest this is a good opportunity their shooters to get back on track. If Golden State shoots well, it's a blowout IMO

Heat -2.5

This game feels very competitive to me and I think will be come down to the wire, but I lean towards Miami to sneak out a close one. I don't think Boston can expect to contain Jimmy while also getting great production out of Tatum. Tatum made some ridiculously tough shots in the first half, then proceeded to play perhaps one of the worst quarters I've seen from a superstar in a while

The Heat have the bodies to frustrate the Celtics stars, and I think they will do so tonight. Even if the offense is harder to come by with Smart back, I lean towards the home team. Should also factor in that I think preserving home court is especially crucial in a series like this -- Heat winning in the Garden will be tough

Good call on the Warriors last night. I think Jason Kidd gets a bonus for every timeout he has left at the end of the game as his coaching in the 3Q was pathetic and the Mavs played the worse quarter I have ever seen. For one, they went away from what was working in the 1H, next was is Green on the court and all and then they resorted to jacking up threes. The worse part is they were in the bonus with about eight minutes left and failed to go to the basket in any possession after that. They definitely deserved to lose.

Nkitilana on the court too in the first half. Managed -10 in those minutes.

3rd quarter was rough for Dallas. The clock mismanagement at the end of the game was pretty awful too . 7 point game or so and just letting Warriors burn it.

Mavericks -2.5

This is their game to get I think. Zig zag must-win at home. I don't think it's a blowout, but I do think they're dribbling this one out at the end

Nice record, Av.
Too bad Kyrie screwed you up at the beginning! You'd be at 66%! haha

Keep it going.
