Ottawa might have the most talented team in the East. They did last year too, but the defense and goaltending were just terrible down the stretch, and the offense stopped scoring enough to make up for it. I actually like their defense more this year without Redden, and the loss of Emery is addition by subtraction. They also should have much better coaching this year. The only problem I see right now is goaltending, and I'm not sure Auld is the long term solution. I'd take him over Gerber in a second though.
