Not only does he have his sycophants, who`ll defend him to the death he also believes his own hype. I tried to ask the same Q and pretty much got the runaround. I also had the temerity to say a game was "OVAH" when he bet the under and was told that basicly I had no right to express my thoughts when there was faint chance it would win. It didn`t. What this amounts to is that Ol Teddy from SF, has built himself a following and he has such an inflated idea of his own importance that you`re not allowed to Q him at all. I offered to discuss it w/him, and he basicly told me to FO, as he was too busy to talk to us peons. Well Ol Teddy I`ve been around a hell of a lot longer than you, and I dont care if you pick 100%. You`re an arrogant asshole who thinks his shit doesn`t stink. Would love to have had a guy like you in my outfit in Korea. Rain on down you bashers I don`t give a damn, I refuse to kiss any man`s ass, win or lose. Glad this got moved to the RR, so I could say what I`ve wanted to for a few weeks.

Very mature Silver7. But it doesn't bother me what you think. :cryingcry

Silver7 is very solid around here, always has been...

I really think when you had the spat it was a misunderstanding on both parts.,...I know you are not the type to take shots at people posting picks....Ted was getting attacked on every play that went down and you just happened to be caught in the crossfire if you will....

Any poster/gambler can certainly understand the frustration, here he's posting plays and if they lose he's questioned and in some cases BEFORE the games end people are bashing....I think your comment was taken out of context after a long week of this BS by many others.

lots of good seats here for cheaper! always trust stub hub!

http://www.stubhub.com/kenny-chesney-tickets/?event_id=365193

some that jumped out at me are

http://www.stubhub.com/kenny-chesney-tickets/?ticket_id=84440457

http://www.stubhub.com/kenny-chesney-tickets/?ticket_id=83246390

or just wait till the day of the show and you can make out real good.

recently i had great seats for billy joel in columbia and it was close to sellout and all you could get outside before was 25 bucks on a 80 buck ticket lower level, but the same seats on stub hub sold for 159 2 weeks before,i know i sold 6 of my 8 before i went down there to sell the 2 left over.ended up getting a 300 dllr seiko watch in exchange for 1 ticket and i took the other and went in myself

bob seger in a sold out show here in charlotte only brought the same 25 bucks for a lower level ticket, but on stub hub 2 weeks before the show brought over 200 bucks.once again i9 sold all but 2 of my tickets and ended up selling the other 2 at 25 bucks a piece outside prior to show

the ticket industry has changed and you have people buying up tickets on stub hub and hoping to bank it on the street and that is not the case.

i will sell these chesney tickets for about 250 each. the show sold out in about 15 minutes.i got in on an internet presale is the only way i was able to get 8 good tickets

journeyman after thinking about it if i were you i would swoop up the second offer. 15 rows from stage and repost them on stub hub in a few weeks for 300 each and take that money and go to the show the day of and get you some other ones for a lot less.

or keep them and enjoy the show. that is a very fair price for those tickets

JMan Thanks For The Voice Of Reason

Life is too short for all of us to embroil ourselves in petty bickering. Mine is REALLY short. As such I have no desire to "feud" w/anyone. As of now I`m done, and will hope to get over that FU*KING KU loss. Bet GT big and that helped. BTW VV my pal, I`m emailing you.

is there still no answer out there to why oldmanTED has changed his style and has seemed to pick every game out there?

I don't know how the ticket market works online...sounds like a good idea though...

The problem with me waiting and going without tickets and buying the day of the show, I have my 10 year old daughter going with me, and if somehow I wasn't able to get in she would be devastated, literally.

Do you just not want to answer the question?
Actually, other than silver7's feelings that was hurt one day when OMT simply said something like, "No thanks, I don't see any need to talk about this with you via email", so I can understand why silver7 seem to have some animosity against OMT on that as it's not all that obvious in this thread alone.

OMT is not a man of many words, apparently. However, he did explain several times that for his Halves picks that he prefers to either listen or watch those games on TV to get a good feel of what the 2H lines may bring.

Obviously for the conference tournaments, there have been many TV games or listened games that he is now able to post much more plays for us to decide whether to take them or not.

I think OMT made the right decision to change his 2H plays from *4 to *3 so that he can reserve the *4 and *5 plays for unique, rare angles that all commingles together.

I didn't intend to answer for OMT as he has answered in this thread (which I didn't realize was moved to the RR...) but this is what I have figured.

Just my observations.

Got to admit I was wondering about this also. I remember in the past he stated his plays were always 1 unit, seldom a 2 unit play and once or twice a year he would have a 3 unit play. I looked for that post a couple of days ago because I too was wondering what was going on. Couldn't find it.

If someone knows how to work the search feature better than I, please do so. I would like to make sure I'm not going crazy.

That said, it really isnt a big deal. I change my unit bets every year in baseball. I start with 1,2 and 3 unit plays and as the season heats up I go to 2,3 and 5 unit plays. It works for me. Not asking anyone else to wager these amounts, and neither is OMT.

It would be nice to hear why the change in style though.

I was pretty shocked by this as well.

Win or lose...not really an issue.

Change in unit amounts...doesn't really matter to me.

But I don't see how anyone can find an edge with all this action. A play on practically every game. How can there be "value" on every game?

I am not bashing at all...I am just curious as to what the reasoning is on this style of betting.

Journeyman - look on Craigslist for tickets. Many times they are people just looking to unload because friends backed out.

Back to the subject here. Who really cares how many plays OMT posts? Myself, I play many more this time of year, thanks to the great info I get from these boards. If OMT has a system that involves 2nd half plays, so be it. Here's an idea - go to Pops69 thread and tell those guys they are posting too many system plays.

My feeling is what is it anyone's concern how someone plays? Does it keep you up at night wondering? Every person has their way of doing things so they should be able to do it without question after question.

RX, NW whatever you call yourself nowadays go find another lottery to hit & forget what you hit it for.
