Okay, guys. Here's the deal.
I called the hotel to see if they can't reconsider and let the posters call in their reservations. They can't start doing that until late tomorrow at the absolute earliest.
So I think the best route is to use the online form we had originally planned. We can't, however, in good conscience have anyone filling out the forms until they are secured. That will take until at least Friday when the only guy who can do this for us returns to work.
I feel really bad about this! Totally my fault - I hadn't anticipated that the hotel might not want to take resos directly and so wasn't prepared in advance with an alternative. The secured form was very last second but unfortunately not as efficient a solution as we'd hoped.
If everyone can wait until Friday (will be at least the afternoon, if not later) then we can start taking reservations then.

Xpanda I'm a little confused. I want to know how I can reserve a room for the September bash. I was going to attend the August bash but now I would like to change to the September bash. Please let me know what I need to do to reserve...I haven't fully been keeping track of everything. Thanks XPanda!

The Bash is open to all posters but the comped rooms are not unlimited and will be assigned by poster seniority. Look for a thread later this week (around Friday) and you will be able to find out when you can call for a reservation. I believe everyone who actually wants a room will get one but cannot guarantee that for sure right now. Using the last two years as a guide I know all posters who made the trip were able to get a comped room for the two nights (Friday and Saturday of both weekends).
Remember we are only comping two nights at each event - Friday/Saturday August 17th and 18th and Friday/Saturday September 7th/8th. Anyone wanting to stay extra nights needs to pay for their accomadations for those extra nights.

I have been offline quite a bit the last couple of weeks due to a home move so I didn't get to e-mail you yet about the comped room for the August bash. Since I'm in group 3, and I have read this thread, I can see that I'd be too lucky if there still would be comped rooms available.
For those who not in Group 1, I just want to clarify that you would be e-mailing us with the fixed-by-today secured link in 2 days after Group 1 has their window (from today to Sunday)? Would it be fair to guess that Group 2 will be e-mailed on Sunday? Then Group 3 on Tuesday?

Everyone should relax a little, all of the people who were already signed up will have absolustely no problem getting comped rooms and imo so should any of the other Rxers who have expressed an interest in coming to either event.
Xpanda will be back online later today (in transit as we speak). Bascially right now we are working on making sure all of your information required to reserve a comped room at Planet Hollywood for either event is forwarded under the most secure manner possible. The Rx.com is concerned that your personal information is not compromised under any circumstances.
