The seats (coach class) were very comfortable and had more pitch (34") and decent legroom than found on United, American, etc. Each seat also had their own AVOD entertainment system with movies, music, and games.

There were no additional charges for anything including drinks (wine, cognac, american/korean beers), headphones, slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste. Two meals were served and you could choose between Korean and western style food. All meals were outstanding.

Service by the flight crew was incredible in every way - it doesn't hurt they are all young and attractive (mostly Korean and Filipina but there was also a Thai flight attendant that was absolutely perfect). We had a 9 hour layover in Incheon Airport on the return flights and they offered us complimentary hotel rooms or a city tour of Seoul. We chose the tour and they even payed for lunch at a Korean barbecue restaurant.

The other key for making the flight comfortable was using one of those inflatable neck pillows to keep your head supported. I never have slept so well on any flights previously.

It's ranked as a 5 star airline and here are some reviews:

For those of you who don't want to travel so far try Tijuana. They even have the blondes there. Every woman in the bar can be had for $60 plus $12 for the hotel room rental (hotel is right next door).

I saw a blonde there last night who was very pretty and built rather well but had some extra baggage in the trunk. When she walked away from me it looked like a couple bobcats fighting in a burlap sack.

Gosh, i wish the flight wasn't so long. I would love to come over there for a few weeks and play some Golf. I couldn't sit down for that long.I'm not a good flier.

Travelling economy i find it difficult to sleep in the upright position and hard on my bony ass to sit for 12 hours crossing the Pacific {West coast to Hong Kong}. Some things i've considered, tried, but not necessarily looked into:

1. Walk around a lot during the flight, jog in front of my seat {bulkhead location}. This helped my bum but not with getting any sleep. That is no fun when you are dead tired but can't nod off. People snoring, talkng, etc, doesn't help, either, although sleeping pills {never tried them} may solve that. Also ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones.

2. Take shorter flights and get there in a longer period of time? For example one could go to the East coast, then across the Atlantic, etc. Or hip hop across the Pacific, via Hawaii, perhaps? I never looked into whether either of these would work as far as signicantly reducing any single flight from 12 hours. This would be to take the scenic route, so to speak, but obviously more expensive & lengthy.

3. Is it possible to take a ship across the Pacific? You could walk around, have a bed, look at the scenery.

4. Fly business or first class. You can lay down as in a bed, so no need to sit for so long. Easier to sleep. This is what i've been doing the last couple trips for the long flights. Economy is fine for the 2-3 hour trips from HKG to BKK.

It'd have to be first class or no flight for me. 12 hours in economy would be torture

This book is a very entertaining read for anyone, and must read for first time travellers to LOS, although i only just read it for the first time in the last week. It is full of useful info about Thailand and the gogo bar scene in BKK. Even though somewhat dated "the song remains {99%} the same".

I finished Private Dancer a few weeks ago. The writing itself isn't so great, but the point the author is trying to make is a strong one. If you do not keep your emotions under control, bad things can happen. When reading it, you think to yourself "how could someone be so stupid", but stories like that play out all the time.

No farang should be allowed to enter Thailand without reading that book.

There are so many women that there is an unwritten law in Pattaya Beach which prohibits jacking off....

Women run this city...

Truer words never spoken. I can honestly say that the 12 days or so I spent there were the first days I spent since I was 14 years old not beating off 2-3 times a day. It simply seemed silly to knock even one out by yourself. Difficult to explain but Viejo is right on here.

Today i was watching this comedy movie on HBO with Gerard Butler and at the end this song comes on. Here are a few of the lyrics:

Call up my homies it’s on and poppin’ tonight cuz it’s meant to be ours
We keep a fade away shot cause we balling this platinum Patron every hour

From the top of the pole, I watch her go down
She got me throwing money around
Ain’t nothing more beautiful to be found
It’s going down down

I’m spending my money (Ayyyeee!)
I’m out of control (Ayyyeee!)
Somebody help me
She taking my bank roll
But I’m king of the club (Ayyyeee!)
And I’m wearing the crown
Poppin’ these bottles
Touching these models
Watching they asses go down down

CHORUS
You spin my head right round, right round, when ya go down when ya go down down
You spin my head right round, right round, when ya go down when ya go down down
You spin my head right round, right round, when ya go down when ya go down down
You spin my head right round, right round, when ya go down when ya go down down
