New Orleans QB

Guru: you stated, "New Orleans VooDoo over 9 wins (4 units -105) - Wish I had gotten this when it was over 8 wins, but nonetheless, this should be relatively easy. New Orleans' biggest problem was at the quarterback position. Jim Kubiak should solve that problem this year."

Unless there's been a trade recently, I think Kubiac went to Georgia. Andy Kelly is N.O. starter.

Olddog...

Looking back at that, I made a number of typos. Thinking one thing and typing another. Andy Kelly is the QB in New Orleans now... I always screw him and Kubiak up. Both guys were in Detroit last year. One came off surgery, the other one ended up being sold off when the franchise folded. Most people have no idea what I'm talking about anyway... Lol... Sorry about the mixup and I hope it didn't influence your decisions in any way, shape, or form. Check out the week one picks.

Oh, and Olddog... your opinions/picks are greatly appreciated on my thread. I'd love to get some feedback.

N.O. '0'9 Ws

Does the aged Kelly starting instead of Kubiac affect your bet on N.O. '0' 9 Ws?

Olddog--

It was just a typo on my part. I knew that Kelly was the QB and typed in Kubiak (I wrote out that whole post pretty quick and didn't proofread it). Keep riding the Voodoo this year.

Where do you bet your AFL team win over/unders?

Maybe I can help

as Adam's roomate our schedules are polar opposites, so I'll help out with his thread from time to time, just as he will do when I cant respond to my baseball thread. The bet's are placed at http://www.pinnaclesports.com/ . I won't offer insight as I dont take the time to care, but simple stuff like this I can help with, or if Adam can't get to the computer.

Pinnacle 9-pt teaser now 7.5

Guru, you stated, "My sportsbook of choice is Pinnacle. I love the 9 point two team teaser"

I just checked and Pinny has reduced it it to a 7.5 pt teaser. Books keep tighening up until they get enough of an edge.

Yeah Olddog, I know... Pinnacle changed that late last week. I'm pretty pissed. But I'll live... teasing 7.5 points for -110 isn't typically worth it unless it's two games that could basically be teased to moneylines.

Adding: Los Angeles Avengers under 9 wins (2 units -115): Yeah, between my original gut and some of Olddog's advice, I'm on it. Just read the report above. LA's starting behind the 8 ball, and considering they get to play 6 games against San Jose/Arizona/Las Vegas, that means they've gotta be pretty flawless elsewhere to cover that number. I like it.

Should be all for now. Keep an eye out for the Golden Picks later in the season.
