been playing in stars since feb... im up probably around $1K.... but is too fucking stressing... even though im a winning player i have suffered horrible bad beats.....

im not sure what to do... i might change to tilt since i can get rakeback there... but i had a horrible experience there 1 year ago so im not very sure... might try MANSION or BET365... i think fish could still lurk there...

above all i think im just depressed after last sunday... played the sunday million (won a $11 2x satellite) and was on 69th place with only 2000 players left (of 7000)... i was running incredibly good and the first 1000 and so places got paid... ended up getting drunk and making really stupid plays... bluffing a lot and bullying the shortstacks around too often... ended up going all in with A10 and busted out.... finished in 1800th and so place...

worst mistake in my poker career so far

The quality of play both online and live has got 10X better.
Its not easy anymore.
I was once a winning player by taking advantage of bad players mistakes, now I am a losing player.

I have not got any worse, its just either the bad players are gone, or the once bad players got good.

Players have improved there position play 1000% in the last 2 years.

That was always the biggest weakness for most of the fish. Now these players are learning how to play there position better which makes winning much more difficult

I used to play nearly everyday until the Bush Admin. used the phony war on terror to crackdown on the industry. My favorite site then stopped taking Americans, so I just quit.

I started playing when I knew very little about strategy and quickly lost my bankroll. I was a fish. I then took about a couple of weeks to actually learn the game then boom, easy money was made. Then over time the absolute idiot players (fish) quit and the games got much tougher. I started losing interest just prior to Bush's bomb due to lack of players just giving away money. The laws changed and that made it easy for me to quit. Even if things reverse I do not see myself going back, that season has passed.
